I’ve started using it, and now the cover won’t stay shut, it sits there waving itself at 45 degrees! I’m applying weight but it’s annoying.Lovely colour. Texture a bit strange but very smooth. Good size.I like the NLT for colloquial ease of reading, but it’s translated idea for idea, not word for word. Compare it with other versions is my plan.

I simply looked for a bible to start reading it, and I have stumbled across this treasure (Just like in Matt 13:45!). I have read this bible every day since it arrived at my doorstep.Alongside the bible, you also get access to a bible studies app. This app has changed my life! I must admit that I am very new to this. I haven’t really been passionate about reading the bible in the past - one of the reasons being that I simply didn‘t understand the message behind the riddles.Not only does the app deliver further explanations, it also gives you prayers and questions for your own personal reflection on what you have just read. AND, you get beautifully illustrated videos, also explaining the contents of the bible. I have learned so much already, and hope to continue to learn more about Christ and his endless love every day.The design of this bible is so beautiful, that my hand automatically grabs it before my mind does. You can feel how much love has been put into it, and I am deeply grateful that the Lord has shown me this bible.In the end of the bible, you get verses for every situation you might be in, to help you overcome and understand. Example: Verses about grief: "God comforts those who grieve" (2 Corinthians 1:3-11).I am so glad this bible has found me, and I can only recommend it to everyone. Especially, when this is your first bible! (As it was for me)
