i saw some complaints about the spring part breaking. maybe it will. i have 6lb chihuahuas and these are still a little longer than i wanted but the smallest i could get. good for moving tags from one collar to another if you need to change it for some reason. very light duty for my dogs and they are working just fine.

These clips are such a great idea. Simply put your dogs ID tags and license on the ring and clip onto your dogs collar. When you get a new collar simply unclip and put onto the new collar. No more opening the S hook with a plier to remove the tags and fastening them onto the new collar. Highly recommend these!

Unfortunately, the added length of putting this on a cat collar with a split ring and a name tag is just too much length, causing the name tag to dangle within both of my kittens view and they HATE it, spending all their time trying to get the tags off... so I wont be able to use them for my intended purpose. But the tags are good quality, a nice small size, and seem very secure. I'll find another use for them or maybe get to use them when the kittens are fully grown.

I’ve been using this for the past few months. I love that it’s so easy to take on and off my puppy’s collar. She is teething and constantly trying to chew those darn tags. So far the durability and sturdiness has been great. I was worried about this being larger and bulky on her collar making it look weird but it’s the perfect size, you can even tell it’s there.

EDIT: Customer service was great. The seller reached out to me & sent me more clips. Although I found something more durable, I'm grateful they cared enough to make it right.I ordered these thinking they looked as if the quality was decent, but I was wrong! My order was delivered today, 11/19/23 at approx 11 am, & my dog had them popped in less than 2 hours. I have a Cane Corso Puppy. I need something more durable!

These were shipped very promptly. Nice design; works well for attaching tags. Have had a similar item before (different seller). The spring hinge may eventually wear out (3 to 4 years, or so).

This seams like it will last a long time which is a big plus. I was hoping this item would make it easier for my arthritic fingers to transfer my dog's tags from one collar to the next but the clasp is too hard for me to open on bad days. I'm hoping it'll get a bit easier over time. I'm not going to subtract any stars because it's a quality item. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone else in my situation.

My 101 lb Shepski was always losing his name tags it was not until I found this item from Amazon that I managed to keep his tags on him.I am very happy now that I know if he becomes lost the finder will be able to contact me.
