My granddaughter is a big fan of the Lion King. I thought it would be a kick to have the night light when she came to visit.The Good:• The nightlight is study and attractive.• The Lion King image and the base can be turned on or off independently.• There are a number of buttons to change the colors, so it is fun to tinker with it.• With both the display and base lights turned on, the light puts out a good bit of light. (See the third photo.)The Bad:• It is difficult to see the image of the Lion King Characters on the vertical display. The first photo was the best we could achieve.GRADESPrice: B+ -Seems a bit high for a nightlight, but it is the Lion KingEase of use: A -Easy enough to press buttons and play with the lightsPerformance: C+ -The lack of image, which was the purpose of the light, was a disappointment.Overall it is a nice light gadget. I would have given 5 stars if the image were better. We did try using the light in the dark, near dark, and bright light but didn’t get better results.

I love lions and I love this light! Honestly, I didn't think I would but I think it's nicer than it comes off in the pictures. The changing colors are so nice.I did have trouble removing the protective film but once I tried the tip of a nail file it came off easy. Didn't scratch it, either.Funny thing is, one of the blue buttons on the remote turns on my tower heater! I just won't use that shade of blue.

It isn't easy to get off (no pull tab) or even see it's there.It's difficult to show in pix but I promise, in person mine is clear and detailed, well-lit, and really gorgeous. (The pix may take an extra couple days to post). They've used a little bit of teensy glitter pieces to really good shading effect.The base is very light plastic but the bottom has rubber feets that work fine.I do have one fuss - if plugged in, there's a green base light that stays on constantly. Originally got this with the intent to gift, and now I need to get another one so I can keep one and give one away. :)I was afraid the picture would look too fake or "cheap", but once lit up at night, it's really lovely!Very nice colors of the rainbow, and you can set it to cycle through (slowly or quickly), or just "sit still" on a given color - and it has a simple "Timer" shutoff feature which is great if you want to fall asleep with it on, but not stay on all night.You can run it on batteries, or a USB (re)charge.One word of caution - it IS a rather lightweight, so it would be best to set this somewhere out of reach of the kids - younger kids might try to play with it and it seems like it *could* break rather easily - not the plastic image itself, but the base.Depending on the age of the kids, it could be very magical fun! You could weave a story together about the lions and how they protect their young, if *your* young one is afraid of the dark. :) :)Overall, I'm VERY delighted with this!

Cute little night light.

The lion pride looks majestic in all it's glory, colors changing beautifully. With adjustable, dimmable lights (14) in a variety of color changes or in one color, this light allows any child to fall asleep, dreaming of their favorite animal. The light itself can be set on timer or controlled via remote or touch without flickering or distortions. I really like the touch possibility as my grandson can turn his light on in case of a nightmare or use the facilities. It is easily dismantled to take on trips using either USB power or battery (3 AA batteries required), which can help with separation anxiety by being a piece from home, soothing fears.The light is well made and easy to operate, a great gift reasonably priced for any child or young at heart.

My daughter had autism and she loves lions. This night light is so cute she loves that it changed colors. She always has a new favorite color depending on her mood.
