Love the light with the Wiz products and this one is great being mobile!

These products are allegedly covered by a 2 year warranty, but please do not buy with confidence feeling that means you will be supported or repairs/replacements/refunds offered if things go wrong.I have over 50 Wiz devices in my home (but will be replacing them all shortly). 2 of them are faulty, and have been for quite some time. I have tried on numerous occasions to reach out for support, but the experience is so frustrating. Email support takes days to reply, and completely ignore any information you give them, instead repeating the same steps over and over again for you to try. I feel like I am being gaslighted by these guys. Presumably, they do this so you will eventually give up.You have been warned. These products appear to be a reasonable bargain, but the support on offer is so poor they are simply not worth it.

Lets address the elephant in the room straight away - the price. Yes, it's a penny shy of £80 (or was when I ordered) but this is a quality unit. The app just works, the light just works. It is still probably a little bit over what I'd expect, but it really is good.There is a main power switch underneath, but the unit can then be powered down (standby) via the app or one of the buttons on the top. All the buttons are touch and the "volume" control you can slide your finger along to get the right brightness.I found I use the buttons quite a bit, but the app itself is very good. And there is integration with your smart home stuff (Alexa, Google).The battery lasts for quite some time and the charge time is not bad - around 2 hours.

The app is a bit clunky but works in the end. Battery life is relatively short so best to think of it as a plug in for most use. Not sure the dual zones feature is actually useful (different colour for top and bottom parts of the lamp). Biggest problem is that mine stopped working completely after just a few weeks. Maybe just bad luck though.

I expect I can put the lamp in the balcony whole night after fully charged, yet it last shorter then I expect.

I got this light for my office to add some ambient lighting as there are lots of colour options and I have a smart system set up in there so thought this would fit in perfectly, and after a few months of using the light it absolutely has. The light has some manual controls on the top of the light but the majority of options come with a companion app. The app that comes with the product connects easily to the light and allows you to control everything for the light including lots of various options for either still lighting, pulsing, on/off, colour blending, lighting scenes and brightness. It’s worth saying that the light itself is nice and bright and all of the colours that I have tried have been very vibrant as well.You can also link the light to other smart home devices, I have mine set up to my Alexa Echo Dot and it is set up with other mood lighting scenes that I can turn on and off. And if you know specific colour names you can set them through voice command which is nice. It’s also very handy that as you go through custom lightning options it gives you the name of the current hue you are on, which you can then save to a favourites list; it's a very nice feature that I haven’t really seen on other similar smart products.The light itself is charged/powered through a USB-C cable that it provided and although it can operate without direct power, it is only for a few hours when fully charged, so I would recommend just using it plugged into mains which is the way I have it set up. With this said, it could be used as a portable light, but you would need wifi connection to access its full range and not just its basic functions so if that is your main intent then this may not be for you.I think the only real thing that would put people off this product is the price as it is on the more expensive range of smart lights similar to this. But with this said, given that this light also has more features than I have seen from other similar products I do think the price could be justified. Overall, I have been pleased with this light, it’s definitely the nicest one I own and with all its features it has fit into my ambient lighting set-up perfectly providing great vibrant lighting, so I would recommend it if you want a smart light with good adaptability and features.

The smart lamp comes well packaged and is easy to setup and pair to your AI devices, I paired mine with amazon Alexa, it will turn the device on/off and dim, but will not change the colour. You need to download the Wiz app from Google play or the apple store and pairing is easy, have your router password handy. The app has some good themed settings as well as the colour pallet and you can invite others which allows them to control the lamp settings as a guest or admin. The lamp itself has a silicone base so it's non-slip and is weighted so it's very stable, there is a handle which makes it portable and there is control function at the top for on/off and brightness. The opaque casing is nice, but has a cheap plastic feel but gives of a nice soft, but well spread light. I am using this lamp in our hallway as the light fittings in our hallway are nowhere near the rooms and we have to walk past the top of the stairs to reach them in the dark, so having this lamp and just saying to Alexa to turn on Wiz is great. I am also using the lamp in our garage and it provides really good light on the daylight or cool white setting. It took a couple of hours to charge the lamp and obviously the charge will last longer on dimmer settings, but it seems to hold a charge well. I really like this lamp and the fact you can carry it anywhere, but I think it's a little pricey.
