I've recomendad this beautiful tattoo tenor ukulele to all my students and now it is out of stock.For the price it is worth replacing the strings with a good Low G set of Worth browns.The tuner heads needed small phllips screws tightened to prevent spinning while tuning.Those are minor inconveniences because this Mila ukulele has rich tone, and is set up with no buzzing at any fret.Harmonic bell tones are pure. I love the unique fret markers, easy to see while strumming. The engraved body art reflects island aloha.I hope it comes back in stock soon.

I picked this one because of the tattooing ... and it was really nice tattooing so I wasn't disappointed. However, I wish it had strap buttons so I could use a traditional strap rather than the neck loop-hook strap.

I read reviews on this inexpensive uke and ordered one for a family member for Christmas. I was really surprised with the craftsmanship and the tone. I played it several times during my visit and decided that I'd order myself one. I was very happy when it came and it was exactly like the one I ordered for a gift, great craftsmanship and beautiful tone! I decided to order third one to keep in my office, but by that time they were unavailable. For those who want to know how this uke compares to something like an $1800 Kamaka, I can say that obviously the more expensive uke is superior. But if you're looking for a uke for under $200, then you will be impressed with this uke. It is a bit brighter than the expensive ukes, but with great tone up and down the fret board. The only things that could be improved would be a slightly wider neck, and better knobs on the tuners.

Nice look. Great sound. Unfortunately the strings were manufactured incorrectly and the notes play “backwards”. Makes it quite difficult to play. Oh and a peg is questionably lose.My daughter initially loved it, and was disappointed when she/we acknowledged the Ukulele is defective and we have to return it. Will try again but I am very nervous of purchasing this brand (sad face). Looks aren’t everything.

it came fast. it was a gift and the recipient loves the etching. he plays it all the time. nice sound. good size for hips big hands. great gift!

Very nicely made, great sound. Husband was very happy to receive this for Christmas. I was very happy with this purchase. I love the design. Packed nicely for shipping!

Although this brand wasn’t among the recommended brands by my daughter’s music teacher, my daughter fell in love with the design and I liked it because it was cheaper than most other brands offered on Amazon. Especially since it would be my 12 year old daughter’s first ukulele. I bought the instrument in August and by October one of the tuning pegs broke. I discussed returning the item and getting a new replacement with my daughter but she said said she really loved it and wouldn’t want to exchange it. Instead I tried to get product support to replace the broken peg. Although I reached out to Amazon a few times, their customer service wasn’t helpful with product support. They continued to direct me to manufacturer instead of being the facilitator to solve this matter. The number they shared with me never answered or returned my voice messages. At the end I gave up, and with the help of the music teacher I ordered separate tuning pegs to sort this ourselves. I wouldn’t recommend this brand if you are looking for customer and technical support when you need assistance with that.
