These are pretty good.I was soaking them overnight and then cooking them for around five hours. They were done but the skins were a bit tough.Found out that if I started soaking them in the morning the day before cooking them the skins turned out okay.Last time I made them in my DIY soar oven and they came out great. It dd take all day to cook them.

Good taste, poor texture after cooking
These kidney beans have good taste and are reasonably priced, but I am not happy with several other aspects. Some of the beans, while soaking, tend to fall apart (split in half) or lose their skins.Even worse, they do not cook up to a firm texture. Despite reducing my pressure cooking time to 25 minutes (from the original 50 minutes), they still come out mushy and stuck together. Good beans should turn out soft but separate and firm.One more bothersome thing: Small red beans (not kidney) were mixed in with the batch. They don't hurt anything, but when someone orders dark kidney beans, that's what they should get.
