If you're wondering how much 1 pound of sphagnum moss will become, its about 1 giant popcorn tins with to the rim. I would advise anyone to please debulk outside, it was very dry/ coarse. Lots of dust and bits everywhere! But nothing major.I got this as a substitute for my snake's shed box material. Instead of $8 for 2ishoz at the pet store.

I got this for my stag horn project. I really think the stuff is overpriced … but don’t know where to get it otherwise I would.! We are buying a apart of the earth which is not around here. Pretty funny really.

My favorite of three brands to use to make moss poles

I’ve ordered “economy style” sphagnum moss from other brands on Amazon…this product here exceeded my expectations! The 1lb compressed bail I got didn’t look like much..but after soaking as instructed the moss definitely grew in size and retains a lot of water. The moss I received was also 99% free of dented like sticks and leaves. Very soft, clean, and long fibered moss. I’ll be purchasing 2lb for next time. Thank you!
