Good pictures from the movie.
The story is very condensed, but that’s what I wanted for my two year old granddaughter who lives the movie..

Epic Classic
Totolly Ozsome book, and as an avid lifetime fan/collector of Ozabilia, thoroughly enjoyed reading it to my curious little 4-year-old granddaughter, who's just now beginning to show an active interest in this epic classic! The beautiful, generous, colorful illustrations were a big hit and helped hold her imagination focused on the story. Highly recommend this book!

Amazing!
This book is great! Some of the pictures are a bit fuzzy, but most are crisp and clear. I think this will be a great bedtime story.

Good introduction to the Wizard of Oz for little ones
I bought this because my just turned 2 year old loves watching YouTube videos of Over the Rainbow and the Munchkin welcome. I thought she would be too scared of the movie so I got her a CD of the soundtrack, and this book. She loves both music and books so as I predicted this was a hit.She really likes the book. I have to read it over and over. Even better if the CD is on at the same time. She loved seeing Dorothy in the book. And pointed out the munchkins calling them the Lollipop Guild :) I think a few more YouTube videos of additional music and she will enjoy this even more.I knocked off a star because although the book has lots of great still images from the movie, it's missing two of my favorites: the back of Dorothy as she opens the house front door to Oz (she's black and white and Oz is in color) and the WWE's feet sticking out from under the house. As an adult reading this book, I think it could have a little more detail. But since its target audience is young kids, and I bought it for my two year old, it's perfect for that age group.

My grandson loves this movie
My grandson loves this movie and since I couldn’t find a board book that had the actual people instead of cartoons, I took this book and I cut the binding off and inserted every picture in an 8 x 10 photo cover and put it in a notebook and I put the hard cover on the front of the book and the back cover on the book. It turned out like a real book, but but indestructible for a little 18 month old.

Magical book!
How great that one can read the OZ story with photos from the film!!! If I had this as a kid, I would have been mesmerized ... as was my special needs nephew who I gave the book to as a gift. A++++
