These have been extremely comfortable breeches! They are very soft and none of the seams pinch or hurt while riding. They also provide excellent grip without feeling "sticky" and didn't cling uncomfortably in the heat of the summer. I have two pair now and have ridden in each about 10 times so far (fairly new purchases) and they are holding up well (I recognize that isn't that many rides yet). They do show dirt and need to be washed a bit more frequently than I'd like (really, they look like I should be washing them after each ride, but that is tough on the material and I usually try to stretch breeches to four or five rides between washings -- I've been compromising with these and washing after every other ride). My only real question mark about them is that the waist band is (quite a bit) larger than I expected -- like I can fit a fist in there with room to spare. They fit great everywhere else, but the waist is loose. I did size up at Amazon's recommendation (I like non-riding clothes to fit loosely, so this is probably the source of the issue), but they stay on well enough by fitting everywhere else that I didn't return them (and I did wonder if they would have felt too tight elsewhere if I'd sized down). In short: these are great, but the fit is keeping me guessing.

I was so excited that these breeches are the new style without the elastic band at the ankle. The chestnut color was exactly what I was looking for, and quality is true to normal Kerrits. Delivery was also almost a week early, so I got them in time for an event I had and was so excited!

Great quality but was shipped wrong color and size. Was in a time crunch and had to use what was shipped. Very good quality and stretchy. Comfort, but larger size would have been been better.

MY daughter loves Kerrits tights/breeches, but the sable color we received in Oct '22 was fleeced lined and no where on the listing does it state these are fleece lined. We had to keep as they were part of a costume but beware if you run warm and dont want/need warmth these may come fleece lined.Otherwise this legging branch is great but pricey!

I noticed some of my fellow horsewomen wearing these last summer, so I decided to try them. I have MS, and the heat can totally disable me, so finding a breech that wasn't too hot is really essential for me. These breeches are amazing. I don't know how they do it, but they've managed to design a breech that actually makes me feel cooler. I won't wear anything else in the summer from now on.

Including a picture of my out-of-shape self to show a larger person in these pants. The short of it? These are the best freaking riding pants I’ve ever had. The long of it is that I recently got my lovable moose of a draft cross who can safely carry me as I work on rebuilding myself. I’m down 30lbs but core strength is a faded memory but it’s slowly returning. Jeans weren’t cutting it. Well, they were kinda cutting me in half with the waist band digging in. And with summer approaching the heat was starting to make heavy denim impractical. I haven’t bought riding pants in years. Then I found these with butt-cooling fabric AND pockets!?! Yes. The pockets fit my smartphone covered in a charging case. The waistband doesn’t dig and I don’t feel like I’m squeezing into a toothpaste tube when putting them on. I’m absolutely a larger rider. I’m personally working on reducing weight for the sake of myself and my moose. But in the meantime I’m so glad these come in 2x. For those in the same boat as I am I’m 5’5” and currently 255lbs. I still feel like I have room in them if I was either a bit larger or smaller. And I honestly plan to also wear these on summer walks as athletic wear.

Updated review: Although I was concerned about durability, these tights have held up great. They snagged the first time I wore them which led me to believe they would need replacement quickly. I wore them throughout the summer without any additional snags. The small sucking noises went away after a few washes and, quite frankly, I'd wear these all day every day in the summer if it were socially acceptable.Original review:After several 100 degree days I ordered these tights. I'd only ridden in full seat breeches prior to ordering these. These tights are incredibly comfortable and cooling. They are more slippery than a full seat breech, but I didn't notice after I started working. Also, they make a little sucking noise as you post, but they don't leave marks on the saddle. I do wash these inside out to protect the grip pads. These snag easily, as one would expect, so they will need to be replaced more frequently than breeches. The biggest difference with these tights was my comfort level after the ride. Sweat dried off quickly and I felt very comfortable as I was bathing and taking care of my horse. I've chosen to only wear these on the hottest days, but I'm happy to have them as an option.

I'm a plus size gal and I love these. So comfortable, absorb sweat, keeps me a bit cooler than other breeches. They are super stretchy, pockets hold my phone, they stay put and you don't see my underwear line.

Generous fit - expected the opposite so could maybe have even gone size smaller. I bought 2XL and length was perfect (I’m 6’2”). Lighter than my Pikeur riding breeches but could have gone even lighter. Even with full seat, definitely not as sticky/secure as Pikeurs, but still nice alternative for hot summer days.
