Good but needed to add some things.
Picked this up to replace my work computer. I replaced the gfx card because I wanted to use more monitors. And added an ssd for faster run time. Other than that great product.Note this has windows 10 Home, if you are using for work you will need a license for Pro.

No GTX 1050
I purchased this product, with the advertised GTX 1050, and it was not included or installed. I am more than frustrated.

Why spend money on an Xbox One X when you could slap a GTX10-whatev in this and have more power in a more versatile machine?
This PC is a great starting point for a console-replacement gaming PC. You can simply swap out the power supply with a higher-wattage model and add a discrete graphics card, the CPU has power to spare and 8 GB of RAM out of the box should be standard these days. What you should be aware of is this machine's complete lack of case fans, the stock power supply's lack of PCIE output, and the expansion slot gates needing to be snapped out of the case. The lack of any preinstalled case fans is why I've removed a star: it's quiet but I'd rather have fans for longevity of the stock components. If you have experienced hard drive failure on this unit, I guarantee it's because the machine was not provided with enough cooling. DO NOT put this machine in a cubby or other closed space. It will not be able to cool itself with the CPU heatsink fan alone. On a desk where it can access fresh air is best.I purchased mine at a Best Buy, cracked open the case as soon as I got home and added 16 GB of RAM, a 650 watt PSU, and a GTX1060 GPU. I use it to Xbox Play Anywhere titles like Forza 7, which runs beautifully (aside from crashing every 30 minutes but that's not the computer's fault). It is incredibly quick, and I say this coming from a 1st-gen i7. It gracefully handles high physical loads like tons of cars in BeamNG and .WebM rendering. As with any computer, some minor technical knowledge is necessary to correct problems. You do not need to send your PC back to ASUS to reinstall the operating system, with Windows 10 it is very easy to do by holding down the shift key at the login screen and clicking the restart button, allowing you to access the Win10 service menu. While ASUS does provide a very up-to-date and relatively bloat-free install of Windows 10, it may be a good idea to download Microsoft's Windows 10 USB download tool and install a fresh copy of the OS. Frankly, this is a good idea with any new computer and alleviates many issues that arise from manufacturer-supplied bloatware. The chassis is very basic and has no provision for cable management, though both sides of the case are removable and overall the computer is very simple to disassemble for service. The PSU mount point has an interesting spring-loaded catch that prevents it from dropping onto the CPU if the screws are removed. There is only space for two full size hard drives inside without an adapter, and if a large discrete GPU is used, it covers up the SATA ports on the motherboard making drive installation afterwards a pain. Most people won't know about this stuff, but anyone who actually cares about computers will want to take a screwdriver to this thing the instant they get it out of the box. It's a very simple machine to work on, with only a single PCI-E 16x slot there's not much space to add things, but then it has built in wifi, 5.1 channel surround, and USB 3.1 so what could you even need? More SATA ports. Yeah.

Overall The Worst Computer Ever
I did purchase this product, but not at Amazon, and have to say that is most sluggish, slowest, irritating and useless computer I have ever owned. Constantly freezes, makes a strange whirring noise, the solid state hard drive doesn't help either. I have brought back to Best Buy 3 times, and every time they tell me that they don't seem to have any issues, and they don't hear this strange noise, but whenever I get it home, it does the same things over and over and over. Based on this purchase I will never purchase another Asus computer again, and even writing to the company, only gets a sympathetic, we're sorry to hear about your issues, I recommend keeping away.

High quality!
I've owned this comp since Dec 2015. Me or the family has not ever had a problem! No problems at all! I've actually been extremely impressed! Yes this comp has been used for gaming. Files. Pictures. Video's. Streaming etc. I'm glad that I purchased this product from Best Buy. I would highly recommend Asus!
