Did not cut as efficiently as expected
My application required cutting through brick. That said, the depth of the brick was about 1/4” greater than the depth of this cutting tool. Caution, measure the depth of your brick before purchasing. Right off the start, I noticed that it was having trouble biting into it. I tried both the drill and the hammer drill positions. After the first 1/4” of depth cut and the time and force in doing so I figured it wasn’t going to do the job. I then drilled holes about every 1 1/2” in spacing around the circumference of the circle in order to help the bit and that worked! Had I not done this, I think it would have failed. I also sprayed water in the cutting area between each 3 or 4 second cutting intervals. This too, helped the cutting tool bite faster into the brick. Just for informational purposes I was using a Dewalt hammer drill.
