Merrell Kid's Moab Speed Low Waterproof Hiking Sneaker

I have just repurchased these in a larger size for my daughter. I bought them last year for our trip back to the UK because I knew we'd need waterproof footwear in November but it wouldn't be cold enough for heavy boots. We got caught in a true English downpour with sideways rain that bounced off the floor with such force that we were absolutely drenched to the skin from where our waterproof jackets ended, down to our feet. Her feet were bone dry in these and they're so cute! Also love that they have the wide fit!

I changed my review from 5 stars to 3 after wear. Like other reviews these started fraying at the seems. They are also heavy. Having said that, they are sturdy and seem to be waterproof, but bc of that they can be hot on their feet. I would still buy them, insisted the fraying wasn’t there.

Durable, cute & comfortable

First, they fit as expected. They are nice looking, pretty light weight. I wouldn’t say fully waterproof, but highly resistant. Son loves them. The rim just below the toe is all frayed like he has been wearing them forever and they been washed too many times. Thing is he only wears them 2-3 times a week and I never washed them. So this pair does look ‘nice’ anymore, not like $60 pair of shoes.

Great shoe. Fits well since he went from size 2 to 3. My son loves them. Only problem is that, since he's still learning to tie his shoes, he snapped one of the shoe laces. I'm buying heavy duty 36" for replacement/backups to replace them.

My 7yo daughter loved her previous Merrell Kids Moab Fst Low Waterproof shoes so we were excited about these but they were a disappointment.

These shoes are cute and comfortable per DD but they fall apart after 14 uses. Not worth it if you go camping or hiking on a regular basis.

These were excellent--my 7yr old son used them the entire time in Iceland (9days) and they kept his feet warm and dry and supported!

These are not waterproof! My son's socks were wet after wearing them out on a light rainy day. This is the first time this has happened with waterproof Merrell hikers and I've been buying them for 2 boys for years.

Nachdem ich ein Merrell Fan geworden bin, habe ich scheinbar auch meine Kleine angesteckt. Sie liebt diese Schuhe zum Wandern.

Die Schuhe sind sehr schön und passen gut. Allerdings sind sie nicht wasserdicht, einmal über die feucht Wiese laufen und die Strümpfe sind nass und die sind an den Seiten oben nach 3 Monaten total verschlissen.

Ordered for myself but size was wrong! I got child size 31 in stead of the ordered size 43 for myself. I was going to return them but they fit to my kid and he likes them.

For the price I would have expected a better finish
