I’ve been using the Rockler Bench Cookies while doing woodworking projects, and they’re one of those small tools you don’t think much about until you realize how useful they are. They keep your workpiece lifted off the bench and stable without needing clamps in every direction. The grip on these is surprisingly strong. Once you set a board or panel on them, it doesn’t slide around at all, which makes sanding, finishing, and light cutting a lot easier and safer. I’ve used them on everything from small pieces to larger panels, and they hold up well. I also like that they protect both the workpiece and the bench surface. No more worrying about scratching or denting finished surfaces while working on them, which is a big help when doing final sanding or applying finish. They’re especially handy when you need to flip a project or work on multiple sides without constantly re-clamping everything. It speeds up workflow a lot for general shop tasks. The only downside is that they’re not a replacement for clamps when you need serious holding pressure or precision joinery. They’re more of a stability and convenience tool than a heavy-duty fixing solution. Didn’t realize how useful these were until I got them—now I use them all the time. They keep your workpiece elevated and stable, which makes sanding, painting, and finishing way easier. No more worrying about sticking to surfaces or messing up the bottom side. The grip is excellent—they hold material in place without sliding around, but still let you reposition easily when needed. The added height also gives you better access to edges and corners. They’re simple, but incredibly effective. Once you start using them, you’ll wonder how you worked without them. Overall, a must-have for any shop.

Good product, won't leave dings in your work piece

Excellent for sanding, light weight and extremely stable. This is so much nicer for a large sanding job; it stays in place almost as well as clamping it, and I can sand the entire exposed surface rather than having to readjust clamps. I've used cheaper bench cookies, but they weren't that much cheaper and they didn't work nearly as well. These are a better value than the ones I got directly from the big box stores. I don't have the accessories that go with these, but I'm probably going to look into a few of them now.

Great for elevating your work piece off the workbench, especially for painting/staining to get to all the edges. The soft rubber face prevents scratching/marring of finished surfaces. The manufacturer offers additional accessories that screw into the threaded ports in the center of the cookie to raise the working surface higher, or to minimize the point of contact with the work surface. I have not used any of these accessories, but the logic is sound..

Really holds materials in place. Used these when I had to prime a board and no movement. I plan on using these for different projects and it tells you the thread size and count on the package. Helpful information so I adapt these for future upgrades.

The rubber stops movement on the bench and the wood resting on them. I thought they would slip about but they are solid.
