lots of power, easy to use, drained down to about 10mm
I purchased the pump to empty the last few inches of water from a pool. High speed pumping as can be seen in the video. I used the standard pipe I use for normal pool equipment like the pool vac which has a yellow rubber fitting on the end. I removed the stepped fitting and placed it straight onto the elbow. The pump got it down to about 10mm left even with the smallest base fitted. I then used a large bucket and a dustpan to scoop up the remaining 10mm. The floating switch meant I could just keep chucking water into the bucket and the pump would switch on when the water level got high enough, it ran for a few seconds draining the bucket down to an inch or two. Much easier than carrying buckets out of the pool each time. Really happy with the purchase.

The description is inaccurate and the user instructions incomplete
The pump was purchased to empty the last 10 cm or so of a swimming pool. The MEDAS description said"3 in 1 Multi Function Submersible Water pump (Low suction 1mm, Clean/Dirty)Get ready for an amazing efficient water draining experience!Key features1.Different pump bases are designed to drain for both clean/dirty water.2.Flat suction drain up to min. water level 1 mm, nearly all water is suctioned from the ground for a wipe -dry result. "This is not the case as you have to start with water approximately 12cm deep as the pump has to be fully primed by submersion. So you cannot start with water only 5-10cm deep and pump it out to a higher level. Also, the user manual does not explain where to position the float sensor switch if you want to operate purely manually. So it was useless for the purpose it was purchased... unless maybe I refill the pool to more the 12cm deep so the pump will start. The manufacturer's description and user manual should be made more accurate to reflect the reality and constraints of operation. After failing to get it to work in the swimming pool depth of water, I tried it in a bath of water where it was fully submerged... it worked perfectly!!!! ... but unfortunately I didn't buy it to empty the bath.

Good value for money
Bought to empty hot tub. Did a great job, only leaving about 1mm of water in the bottom which was easily mopped up.
