This mini USB night light is exactly what I needed. It plugs in easily, gives off a warm, soft glow that's bright enough to see by but not harsh on the eyes. It doesn't get hot at all, and it's so compact that it doesn't block the other USB ports. Great value for the price!

Who would have thought these lights would be so great! Brightness 100% These are white. Not amber as described. Small. You can place them anywhere in any USB Flexibility. Multiple uses. I only used ONE and it was bright. Used TWO. Felt as if I were in an auditorium. Fit was suitable and used little space. Versatility. I plan on using these lights while camping, late night workouts, as a flashlight, attach to my computer and other options. Quality is top notch. Doesn't feel cheap. Price was also great. More than enough for the amount invested

out of the box they are lousy. they are two warm white LEDs running in parallel being directly driven by the USB input. the whole assembly is friction fit so if you push it into a USB receptacle that's tight it will cause the transparent lid to pop off. Because its direct drive its screaming bright and creates alot of heat, because that heat has no where to go it heats the USB plug, which then damages the USB charger you are running it on. The fix was very easy, simply take the top off, file off the carbon short over the [perfectly solderable] inline resistance pad, then solder in a 100 ohm resistor of your choice, and voila.... now it runs 20mA at 5V. I carry these in my travel bag. Hotels don't have nightlights, but most of them will have complimentary USB charging sockets. So I plug them in when I'm staying the night. the LEDs survive long life, USB plug is cool to the touch. Life is good.

These are great nightlights to plug in to our usb ports in the camper. It is a bit bright for sleeping but does provide good lighting as a bathroom night light. They are not super strong or durable and may break easily. Overall, good or value for money.

These are fantastic additions to any power station. They plug right into the USB port and give off about as much light as any home night-light. Great for camping. They use so little power it doesn't even register on any of my stations. I'd guess between 0.5 and 1.5 watts, tops.

ZERO stars (if only I could give that rating). I’m using these as a night light in a wall sconce open top & bottom - plenty of ventilation - plugged into a USB wall plate. So far, two of them have failed - lasting about two nights apiece. Initially, brightness is perfect for this application, but after a couple of nights, they produce almost no light (maybe 1/10th of their original output). DO NOT BUY!

If you're like me, you have a bunch of old USB phone chargers sitting around. Pop one of these into it, and use it as a night light! These are a little bright (there are 2 SMT LEDs internally), so I was going to hack it and increase the series resistance to lower the brightness. Interestingly, they use printed film resistors, so I can't just change them. It looks like a standard 0805 footprint, so I may sacrifice one, scratch off the film, and replace it with a standard 0805 resistor. Also, I like them so much that I want them in different colors! To lower the brightness, I may unsolder one of the 2 LEDs. Neat product, guys! Make them in different colors, and I'll buy more!

Quite bright, these are cool white. Unlike similar attachments that I have, these run very very cool which is a great advantage. My intention was to use it as a 'comfort' light while in hospital, just to have some light so I could find things in the dark. Turns out to be an unobtrusive night light. And oddly, while I was in, my son was using one at home plugged into a USB power wart on the wall, as a night light. Because they run so cool, I think it's safe to put some sort of reflector or piece of paper/card in front if the glare is too much.

Great bright little lights.. no issues with heat so far, have left them overnight nice and bright

These lights are nice and bright, but I fear they won't last for long. The first one I plugged in burned out in 5 minuets.
