Worthwhile upgrade from the Versa 2.
The VERSA II was finally retired recently after suffering from major battery and charging issues. It has served well for three years and now replaced with this one. First impressions it is very good, charge lasts around 7 days for the usage it gets. Simple to setup, easy to use and hope it will serve as well. The only negative for me is the lousy strap, brings me up in a rash so I ordered a 3rd party leather strap which is perfect.

Fitbit Versa 4 is a great reliable smart watch.
I upgraded from Versa 3 I am very happy with my purchase. Connected to my Samsung phone with no issues. I find the Versa 4 very reliable with step counter as it is with the other features. The battery life is also good averaging around six days.

I've had this for a couple of months now, and most importantly I use it to track calories burnt during my weight sessions in the gym. The Versa 4 syncs with my Nutracheck app nicely which is very handy indeed when viewing your calorific intake. The sleep monitoring is interesting and useful for telling you your quality of sleep which is of great importance for physical recovery and for mental health monitoring. The higher quality of sleep the better.I like that there are plenty of watch faces to change whenever you feel like it, using the fitbit app. Not all are free but there are plenty that are.On the downside, I find the strap very fiddly. You do get two sizes which is helpful and you can buy more online to change the look or just have more comfort. The step count i find is highly inaccurate. It tells me daily I have done over 10,000 steps which I dont think is true. It once told me I had done this when I was driving my car home from work one evening, and I had been sat in the car for 15 minutes at that point. So as a step tracker, I dont think it's entirely accurate, unfortunately. All in all, I would recommend it if you exercise frequently as it's a helpful tool for monitoring heart rate, calories burnt and times your session. It counts upwards so is helpful for monitoring rest times and keeping them to what they should be. Downside is the strap and step counter.EDIT: Well after 3 months, my fitbit has bit the dust. It refused to charge and now the battery is dead and the watch wont turn on at all. A great shame as I was reasonably happy with it, but thankfully Amazon will refund me. Hard to say if I would buy another one in this moment, but I would consider something else, sadly.

Great
Much better than the cheap Chinese version I used previously. And I feel safer using the app to track and store my data.

My last fitbit
Really enjoyed my versa 3. I loved how you could customise the screen and particularly log your weight in the watch ao you didn't have to get your phone to do it.So I was dissapointed when the screen went on it after a few years. So I went and purchased the Versa 4 without checking. Thinking well it is a Versa 4 so it is like the 3 but better. How wrong was I. Firstly realised I couldn't customise anything. Whilst the weight logging was gone I could live with that. What sealed it for me was my first run with it in a park I usually go to. The GPS was going off and vibrating on my watch literally every 20 seconds which really angered me.The versa 3 GPS wasn't perfect but was mostly good. One feature it had was you could turn off notifications for losing GPS during the run so it only vibrated once. The versa 4 does not have this, so that is what made me return it. Just makes no sense for a version to be a significant downgrade on the previous.Been using fitbit products for 7 years now unfortunately with google purchasing the company they seem to be going away from fitness watches and more to smart watches to receive texts etc just not for me. I have purchased an alternative and so far happy with it.

I hope this Fitbit lasts just as long as my last one
Why did you choose this product over others?:I’m a PT but I love my Fitbit’s. My last Versa lasted a very long time but finally gave up the ghost. So I ordered the Versa 4 I’m excited to see my stats. Great for self motivation and I use the stop watch all the time at work. I always order fabric straps as the plastic ones are not so nice when you’re all sweaty. I like this particular model as you can swim in it too.
