Lighting and Flow Posing: Techniques for Boudoir Photography

I really like how this book is so down to earth, simple to read and actionable.Every photographer has a way to pose people that works for them. I thought I had my flow great but after reading this book and applying one tip from the book I improved my process of posing so I am less tired in the end of a session and get just as many great pictures. I definitely recommend this book.

Very good book which definitely helped with my boudoir business. Ranked with 2 stars due to the book being paperback and the flow posing isn't clearly written. I like showing clients a pose using images on my phone because it helps them to recreate it. I'd feel embarrassed to take a book to a session and point to a page then telling the client to "do this". So if you're good about remembering 80+ poses then I'd recommend it. For the first chapter on flow posing, the subject starts off laying on her side, then belly, then side, then her back. I had to send a message to the author for clarification on which pose to start with.

Outstanding book with loads of great info on lighting and posing. It is filled with photographic examples to clearly illustrate the concepts, as well as inspire you in your boudoir photography.

excellent book, which allows you to get a clearer vision of poses. it usually specifies the characteristics of each position. I recommend it.

It's a bit expensive for the way it is written. But it has some valuable information.

This is a phenomenal book if you are just starting out or even if you have been in it a while and just want new ways, techniques, and guidance on posing your client. I love the way it is easily laid out and great tool to reference when working with a client and may have those blanks on what to do next. I actually scanned them to create a sheet for myself to follow with models to help hone my skills.I greatly recommend this book for boudoir photography!
