Doesn’t fit as expected
I really wanted to like this product because I have the Sarah Wells Lizzy bag and the pumparoo. I am planning on using the spectra S1 breast pump, which fits in one of the larger side pockets, however, this cooler does not fit in the other side pocket (smaller one). Also, it would be hard to fit the Dr brown 8 oz bottles in here..although it could probably zip. It does fit however, the 8 ounce Avent bottles. The picture shows spectra bottle, Medela 5 oz, dr brown 8 oz and Avent 8 oz with the cap. Hope this helps!

Didn't fit my needs - not for Avent 6 oz. storage bottles
Yes, it's a glorified lunchbox. Yes, the cooler brick could be better. I get why it's got good reviews, though; cute designs and perfect size if you use as intended for 4 large bottles. My intended use is to bring pumped milk to and from work. I won't pump into the large Avent bottles we have (too heavy). I love the Avent milk storage bottles that hold 6 ounces each and pump and store directly into those. They are lightweight and the lids are leakproof. Despite measuring, I thought they would fit about like the milk bottles. I was hoping 8 would fit, even though I really only need 4-6. However, they don't fit. I knew it would be tight but it just won't work. I can fit 4 but then the "clever" size isn't perfect anymore and it's a waste of space. I had also hoped the "redesigned" cooler pack (forgot where I read that) would mean it's thinner and that would help my case...Off to find a different glorified lunch box. BTW, the pumparoo dry bag was comically big -- so wrong size as well. I only needed it to hold my one pair of flanges, but it is big enough to hold 4-5 pairs!

This fits a lot of milk!
I really put this bag to the test last week. I was away from my baby for 3 days and had to pump a lot. I fit a TON of milk in this guy. And since it was all frozen, I was able to take out the frozen pack to fit more milk in there. After 2 flights and a layover, milk was still mostly frozen and in good shape. Excellent bag!

Transporting Milk While Traveling
I researched like crazy on how to transport breastmilk while traveling. This was one of the top bags I kept reading about. I exclusively pump for my baby and we started to travel quite a bit once he turned 6 months old. I was really stressed about how to take milk with me and how to take so much. I thought the bag would be a bit larger, but it ended up working out. We were away for 7 days for our first trip and I noticed by stuffing this bag with frozen breastmilk, it actually kept all my milk bags frozen. Only one bag (up top) had started to defrost, but was still slushy. The entire duration of the trip was 5-6 hours. I ended up ordering a second bag because I was not able to fit a week's worth of milk supply in the bag (baby was still drinking 6-7 feedings at this time). It wasn't too big of a problem. Due to traveling alone, I packed both bags into my suitcase right before leaving. On the trip back, I ended up taking it out and carrying it through TSA due to the weight it was adding to my suitcase (7 pounds)!! Our second trip was just a few days ago. I didn't take as much milk and I did notice more of the milk bags had started to defrost, but still frozen enough to put back in the freezer once I arrived at my destination. We will be traveling to Cabo in a couple of months. I am a little nervous since the flight will be longer than both of our previous trips, but I also do not have a choice and will need to make the best of the situation. I plan to take a lot of milk. So, I am hoping the frozen milk will help keep the milk from defrosting too quickly.

Love it!
I love this cooler! I needed a bigger cooler when out and about with my baby. We use comotomo bottles and if anyone uses these, you know how chunky those bottles are. This cooler fits 4 of those perfectly with the ice pack flat on the bottom. I love in Texas and the heat is starting to hit the 90s already and the cooler has kept up on our outings. I love the buckle on the strap/handle. I simply attach to my diaper bag and let’s go!! Love Sarah Wells products.
