Not waterproof, no seal on battery box, so not ipx 7 waterproof. Good luck strapping 3 batterys on the back of your head if you get caught out in a down pore.

very stable headlamp!
Very powerful headlamp! I used this one for camping last week in Shenandoah National Park, worked great. It is bright and large scale lighted for the camping during night, regarding the battery, I had used it for more than 4hrs without a recharge, great battery I think. I also used it during the night hiking, it is very easy for me to see the path for me. I would give it a great thumb up for the stability on my head, I had bought several headlamps in the past, most of them only contain one circled belt, which always loosened when I moved quickly, this one, with two belts works great! Very stable! Highly recommended!
