The zip ties that came with the pen are indeed flimsy. It was easy to put together. We had a storm recently that came through our area with 80 MPH winds and it did not blow over. Wobbled a bit but it was a heavy storm. I used a LOT of zip ties, probably more than other (normal) people would but I wanted it to be super safe for my chicks. Will it hold up against coyotes, raccoons, big dogs - probably not. Keeps the neighbors' cats out and chickens in. If I were worried about the bigger predators, I would use metal fabric wire. The frame is sturdy!

The instructions are pretty easy to follow and wouldn't have taken long to put together if it had been properly made. There are small metal springs on the poles that are supposed to pop into holes drilled in the joint pieces. However, the holes drilled were on the wrong side of the joint pieces. I ended up having to drill new holes myself. The tarp included is super thin and will not hold up to the elements very long (easy to buy a new one). The zip ties provided are also not very good quality and I bought some heavy duty ones. The seller was very quick to address my concerns and made it right.

Assembly was pretty easy but it’s flimsy. Zip ties go directly in the trash and you want to buy good ones and we did metal zip ties around the base. Not too bad, just expected a little more.

Needs less zip ties more strong thin wire.

No instructions, it was missing a pole, and there are holes throughout the wrapping that goes around the pen. Awful!
