Oh my...
What a book!!!!! Definitely fire and explosions everywhere and you will never be ready for what you will find out next! The best book of this series so far! Couldn't stop reading...incredible! I love Imogen and the Belles adventures! Laughed so much with their antics as well and how Tommy was handled by the ladies! Soooo worth the wait! And...the end???? How are we going to survive until the next book???? Well done!!! I would give it 10 stars!!!

The series continues to impress
Loved Imogen and Tommy. Enjoyed the plot, the continued fun with the Belles and brief references to the protective supportive husbands. Plenty twists and turns exciting moments if somewhat predictable. Looking forward to the Duchess’s story.

Imogen and Tommy are absolutely delish!!!
A rollicking good read. Steamy, super sexy, a heroine who is completely feisty and a very dashing hero. I highly recommend.

Funny and steamy
I've read a LOT of Sarah MacLean books, and I found this one to be one of her more memorable ones. Funnier than most, with her explosive-obsessed lady paired with a straightlaced and hopelessly outmatched policeman. Just a lot of fun, excitement, and barely controlled yearnings. Just what you want from this genre!

Tommy Go Boom!!!!
I am a read the whole book in a day kind of woman. I love to dive in and lap the whole story up in one sitting. But this series, makes me wanna slow down. I find myself playing games on my phone or searching on my computer because I don’t want to get to the end.I trust Sarah to give me the story I deserve. This series feels like a love letter to all of us who read romance and love it. Those of us who love a group of friends so we get another book where they all show up and sometimes where interconnected folks pop in as well. This series, so far, has been about women who have either been pigeonholed or underestimated. Sometimes both.Bombshell gave me Sesily- the pretty one. That’d it. She’s gorgeous so she’s not allowed to be anything else. But with these women, she has agency and she’s the prefect distraction.Heartbreaker gave me Adelaide - she’s not conventionally pretty or a male so she’s ignored. With these women, she’s the spy. If no one notices you, you see everything. Now Knockout has given me Imogen- she’s big and bold and most people think she’s too much. If people think you’re too much, they never catch how smart you are.Imogen is so much fun. I love her fearlessness and her determination to live her life the way she wants. I love that she is a chemical genius with a deft hand in explosives. She’s two steps ahead of the peelers. Except for that dratted Tommy, who is exceedingly handsome & distracting.Thomas Peck has pulled himself out of poverty and is climbing the ranks in Scotland Yard. He’s a DI trying to become the head of the division. If only he could keep that intriguing Imogen Loveless out of his investigations.Watching these two circle one another has been a delight. Imogen is out there living her life and Tommy is trying to keep everything under control.Tommy has some seriously sexy moments in this book. He’s big and bearded and so locked down. This book has a lot of emotion woven in a very satisfactory way. There are some cameos from old favorites and a lot of action.I absolutely loved every minute of it. Nobody writes a historical quote like Sarah does.

Exciting adventure!
I loved every bit of Lady Imogen's personality. She owned her intelligence and interest in explosives, and she was magnificent. I loved that she balked at the aristocracy and all the rules that society tried to force upon women. The Hell's Belles are an amazing group of women doing dangerous work. Detective Thomas Peck was in the thick of it with Lady Imogen, since she kept showing up at all of the crime scenes. Of course, she was doing her own investigating and Tommy didn't like that one bit. I really enjoyed these two together. They had amazing chemistry and the sparks flew, figuratively and literally. It was an entertaining story.

A MacLean classic
I will start by saying I'm a big fan of Sarah MacLean. So when this next book in the Hell's Belles series came out, I had high expectations. And MacLean delivered. Passion, action, intrigue and excellent character development. I loved Imogen and Tommy's story.Another small yet huge thing I loved was how she described all new characters equally. Even white women are described as white, rather than othering everyone else and leaving out the white. This was a progressive touch and as it should be.
