I had been using the little foam applicators for stenciling with ink for greeting cards. These are brushes with tightly packed bristles. They work beautifully for my purposes. I can blend colors and fade out to nothing. Also the variety of sizes is a plus.

These brushes came well packaged and exactly as described. They seem to be made well and although I've only used them once they did exactly what I needed them to do. Excellent purchase.
