I have two toddlers sharing a room, facing the setting sun at bedtime, so this product is a life saver. It’s good quality, the size is muuuch larger than I was expecting, which is great because I just cut it to the size I needed, I had enough left over to use in another bedroom, so you’re getting great value for your money. It blocks all the light from the window. An added benefit I didn’t think about when I purchased it, was that it also helps keep the room cool. The only downside, which isn’t really the products fault, is the Velcro patches. My toddlers have probably taken them off the windowsill a few times and they’ve lost their stickiness, so sometimes the Velcro falls off. But still worth it

After having this curtain for a few months now, I really want to say I love this blackout curtain 100%. I love being able to custom-size it to my windows, and once set up, it does block out light perfectly.But, like other reviews, the adhesives can be finicky and may stick poorly. Initially, it took multiple tries for me to get the curtain to finally stick to the window, and I still have to press on the adhesives regularly to ensure it doesn't fall.I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but when first opening the curtain out of the packaging, it had an odd plastic/acidic/chemical scent. I'm not sure how to describe it exactly, but it did smell somewhat off. Over the last few months, thankfully, the scent has gone away for the most part and isn't noticeable anymore.Overall, I'm torn about whether or not to fully recommend this blackout curtain because, on one hand, it does serve its intended purpose. However, the low-quality adhesives and initial smell may outweigh the positives for some.

I switched to night shift and had a hard time getting to sleep in the morning when the sun was out. They work wonderfully at keep out the light and making my room dark. It even feels like my room stays cooler too. Easy to use, quality product.

I suffer from migraines so the light can be a big issue and with renting I can’t do too much to the windows or window sills. This product is super easy to install and works wonders. It comes in a big sheet that you cut your own desired sizes. With the summer heat it also helps the room stay cool

I’m a person that needs COMPLETE darkness to be able to sleep. These are phenomenal. They were a little hard to install since it needs to be flush against the window and the provided velcro things cause a gap that lets light through. I just used pins and now there’s no light seeping through, and I’ve never slept so good. When the curtains came in, they had to air out forever and I sprayed them with smelly goods since they smelt like fish (like a cards against humanity box set if you will).

I thought this curtain for a doorway between my master bedroom and bathroom, where there is no window from which to hang it. There are two large windows in the bathroom which makes it very bright in my bedroom, but I didn’t want to put curtains up in the bathroom (I think it’s weird, and it’s also a rental). I figured I would try this blackout curtain and it works like a charm. Only problem is the adhesive dots that it comes with do NOT stick to painted surfaces; the curtain came down within just hours. So I put several heavy-duty command strips along the top, on the SILVER side (the strips will NOT stick to the black side), and so far it’s still hanging (it’s been two days now).It’s very lightweight and easy to cut, and VERY good at blocking light. Also is an excellent value, as I know actual blackout curtains can be expensive.

Fue una gran decepcion ver lo que contenia el empaque. Es solo una enorme tela aluminizada, delgadita, con adhesivos de velcro que se pegan a la ventana, no es una persiana ni la calidad de una. Habria funcionado de igual forma comprar en un negocio de telas la tela aluminizada y en home depot los adhesivos

Product came way earlier than i expected it so defo no complaints on the timing. It works as it says. No light passes through even after i shine my nightcore flashlight thru it!! Currently using it and safe to say it always looks like it’s dark in the room!!!

Unbearable plastic smell adheres to the product making it unusable and probably toxic.
