Love to watch the image appear!
This mug turns from all black (total darknes) to reveal the cross at sunrise by Thomas Kincade, painter of light. Very symbolic and inspirational. Great way to start each day with my morning coffee and a cup of hope.

Nice product
Product is great and surprisingly managed to come unbroken. I would highly suggest warehouse/vendor take more care in shipping in the future. While the mug rests in its own little box it was shipped simply in a non padded shipping bag (instead of a box or at the very least a padded bag) so the box is mangled, looks like it was squashed and has a hole in it somehow, very disappointed as this was ordered as a gift for someone. Im glad I had it shipped to me instead of directly to the intended so I can make a cute gift basket assortment to put it in instead of them receiving it in a mangled box

Bought as a gift
We bought this as a gift for our Son, and he just loves it. His children love watching it morph into the beautiful inspirational scene. Price was right, and product is great, but the shipping was ridiculous. The picture is misleading also, it looks like you are getting two, but that's a "my bad" for relying on a picture. Those are the reasons for the "Not perfect score"

Disappointed
Image does not cover entire mug as pictured in advertising.There is a very noticeable white gap by the cup handle, where the image begins and ends.The image does not go completely around the mug as seen in picture.It does not look like the picture, at all.

Very nice but heed the warnings
It's very nice looking. It is oddly specific with how much of the image gets revealed. A standard cup of coffee won't quite make the top part of the image appear-- you need to fill it to nearly the brim.The bottom of the mug clearly warns against microwaving and not to wash in a dishwasher, but I missed those details when I bought it. Those inconveniences would prevent me from buying it again.
