This rug is beautiful! The colors are just as pictured. It’s a little thin and not a ton of cushion but not an issue if you are just walking on it. It lays flat and vacuums well. There is a rubber backing on it so nothing needed under it to hold it in place.

The picture does not do it justice. The runner is bright and beautiful. We put it in stairs. It not only looks great but it is also very well made.We put padding under the rug just because it was going on stairs. The rug is thick and the padding gave it theExtra touch.I strongly recommend purchasing the runner

This rug is well made. The colors are vibrant and it fits nicely in front of my kitchen sink. While this size has minimal slippage, the ends do occasionally turn up if someone or my cat gets under the edge. I also ordered this in a 10 foot length for my laundry area. It is beautiful but this length bunches up and has to be continuously straightened. It would be ideal if the rubber backing were heavier but this length definitely needed an additional anchor.
