BEST things to ever happen to my home!
My last heater overflowed one night, luckily I noticed it early. I’ve only had my home for 5yrs so didn’t know where to start. So when it was time for me to replace it, i did extreme research on new alt. to tank heaters. As a “millennial” I thought there must have been a newer invention then what our parents are use to, and I found this DIAMOND! I wanted to take the risk and felt confident after reading reviews.1st off, it’s extremely light weight! It’s the size of a baby and super sleek look.2nd, I’m a 26year old women who lives alone, but with lots of YouTube videos and trips to Lowe’s I installed it myself! And could do it again in 1/2 the time.3rd. Feels AMAZING I never have to worry about possibly messing up my waterproof laminate floors.Basically I’ll end this review by saying it is the best new invention and I LOVE IT! My parents now want one, and I recommend anybody gets it before there current explodes(so you don’t have to go w/o hot water for a week). Any new home will be prob. be using this moving forward. It’s way cheaper than the old school way, light weight/compact, and 0 cons…all pros. This water heater gets way hotter than my other did.P.S By the 70 amp breaker at the same time like I did and typical 3/4 snakebites won’t fit so buy the 3/4-1/2 converter nut at any hardware store too.

Amazing
Was a little hesitant but this thing works so well. Amazing temporary fix. Only thing is it requires a lot of volts for the breaker so you have to turn the breaker on and off when not using. And once you set the temperature it stays that way you can't adjust with the shower nozzle. I recommend 111 degree

Seamed okay 👌
This is quite the piece of equipment but before you buy check with your gas provider, I personally hooked mine up but it wouldn’t work so I had a professional come out, he said he couldn’t Even touch it because it isn’t up to code , with this particular model you would have to wall of your water closet door and make and outside door so that it’s not considered a part of your living space, like my propane furnace has , it would need a separate air intake and separate exhaust which would be fine inside the water closet where the existing electric water heater was, I’m sure it would have been alright if it were up to code but didn’t work for me. Like I said check with your gas provider first. The propane expert said if he came out and saw that the homeowner had hooked up a separate device without first getting permission from the gas company that they would have shut off the gas and shortly after promptly remove both tanks and that would be that. So do yourself a favor and check with them first if you’re a professional handyman and can do it yourself, if you hire a professional, the first thing they will do is contact your gas provider for permission 👍

low cost and easy to install.
This unit does what is advertised, easy to install and provides steady hot water, I have mine set to 116 degrees, you can set it up to 124 degrees, that is too hot for me. Provides hot water at a steady rate to multiple locations at once. I prefer over gas units. I had one for 11 years and the maintenance was costly. I did install the output line smaller than the input line by an 1/8 of an inch. Read on. Three days after I submitted this review the unit slowed down and was only providing 3/4 or less gals per min. not adequate to take a shower, called Marey and the Tech told me to try reversing the flow, I removed the output line and ran the system without power for a few minutes then put the system back on line and now have 3 + gal of very hot water. The service people will be the best part of working with the company, very good unit.

Constant Error reading
The Marey ECO150 220V/240V-14.6kW tankless water heater with smart technology in white was purchased for my home after the storm had destroyed and flooded our home, and I must say that my experience with this product has been extremely unsatisfactory. The primary reason for my dissatisfaction is the error reading issues that have plagued this unit from the moment I installed it.The installation process was seemingly not that difficult or complicated. The product claims to be user-friendly and easy to set up. The instructions provided in the manual were very clear, and it did not take me a significant amount of time to figure out the wiring and plumbing connections. The most frustrating aspect of this tankless water heater is its constant error readings. Despite having followed the installation instructions to the letter and ensuring that the unit had an adequate power supply, it consistently displayed error messages. These error messages were cryptic and provided no real guidance on how to resolve the issues. I contacted Marey customer support for assistance, but their response was slow and unhelpful, leaving me without hot water for an extended period.Smart Technology" feature, which was one of the main selling points of this water heater, failed to live up to its promise. It was supposed to provide precise temperature control and energy efficiency, but instead, it seemed to exacerbate the error problems. The temperature fluctuations were frequent and unpredictable, making it impossible to enjoy a comfortable and consistent flow of hot water.Adding injury to insult, the small, white unit had a cheap and flimsy build quality. It did not inspire confidence in its durability, and considering the price I paid for it, I expected a more robust construction.Marey ECO150 220V/240V-14.6kW Tankless Water Heater with Smart Technology has been a major disappointment due to its error reading issues, unreliable "Smart Technology," and subpar build quality. I would not recommend this product to anyone seeking a reliable and efficient tankless water heater, and I regret my purchase.

Great for point of use in Vancouver
Originally I installed this unit near my breaker panel (using the included cable) to serve my 2 bed townhouse (replacing old hot water tank). It worked fine for 1 standard showerhead, but the water would go cool if a faucet or appliance was in use with the shower going. You can restrict flow by adjusting a ball valve going into or out of the unit to prevent the outlet water from going cool, but this decreases the outlet water pressure even when the outlet water is hot. You can buy a "flow regulator" which shouldn't have this issue, but the hot water output would still be limited all the same.I ended up installing a second unit under my bathroom sink and moving the first unit to under my kitchen sink. Together they serve the entire house, but there are check valves installed to prevent the kitchen unit from serving the 2 bathroom sinks and vice versa. This allows for instant hot water (~5 seconds) at the sinks, while allowing the unit under the sink that isn't in use to serve a shower or the washing machine. With the two units working together, there is enough heating capacity to serve a 2 bed townhouse in Vancouver comfortably. If you live in Vancouver (or anywhere else in Canada), I would not recommend this product unless you already have 6 gauge wire run to under your sink. The cost of running the wire exceeded the cost of the units for me. I would not recommend this unit for serving an entire house unless there was only one person living in it. If you have a 200 amp electrical service, you might get away with installing a 27KW heater to serve an entire house in Vancouver, otherwise just get a tank heater or use natural gas.

Great for a 3 season cottage
I used this product to replace a 40 gal electric tank water heater in my cottage. Be aware that you will probably have to upgrade the circuit to 70 amps (240v) which will also requires replacement of the wiring to the electrical box. Fortunately I was close and had no problem rerunning the line, however parts did cost $130 CAD. Once correctly installed, it takes a bit of getting used to some of the performance differences, ie. a little longer wait for hot water. But having unlimited hot water and the ease of winterizing the unit make this an improvement over the old tank heater.
