The media could not be loaded. I used this for a 1 week trip to Carribean Island vacation. Constantly in the water or poolside and works well even walking around town. Not much larger than my usual (non-waterproof) case so not bulky at all. Works very well and is totally waterproof and rugged. Kept my iPhone 8s safe and allowed me to carry in swimsuit pocket while jet skiing, snorkeling, beach swimming, pool swimming and hanging out on salt water flats all day long. Touch screen can be hard to activate when in salt water due to capacitive nature of touch screen. But that’s inherent to iPhone screen. Case closure is so secure it is difficult to take off if you don’t have strong finger nails. All buttons work well and even removable charger cover is secure and water tight. Camera works great in video or camera mode and even selfie mode works great. The weakest link is the fingerprint sensor pad as it is a thin membrane. If that gets nicked or damaged the case will leak - so make sure you don’t have sharp fingernails. Other than that, an excellent product and highly recommended. As a bonus, you can play music underwater while snorkeling and it sounds quite loud as water transmits sound well. This would be a great case for general rugged use like backpacking or other inclement weather activities. Sound for voice calls and even speakerphone works well. It works so well, and is so compact, I could almost leave it on for normal land use and your iPhone will be totally protected from spills and falls. Compared to non-waterproof name brand cases that sound like a water rodent that cost 2x as much, this is a superb value.

This phone case is amazing! I bought it back in Janaury 22, 2018 and am writing this on November 5, 2018.That’s how long it took to break this case.I dropped the case very hard many times because I Workout a lot. It took 11 months to see any real damage done and only to the back side as I take it on and off to store a credit card in the back side.I gave the sound quality a 4 star rating because it could be better not bad though.The string handle that comes with the case is also a stylish and helpful accessory just wish is came with more than one.Very reliable, sturdy, and affordable. Completely weather proof as advertised. Also make sure the bottom charging plug is sealed tight and it won’t get wet inside the charger port.Amazing price for the value provided will be buying 2 more for 2019 as I’ll be lifting and surfing don’t want to ruin my sexy iPhone 7.Highly recommend for iPhone 7 users looking for an affordable reliable phone case. This is a great waterproof phone case. I used this on a canoe trip, so I was primarily worried about splashes, but there was the possibility of tipping over and falling in the water. We never tipped the canoe, so the phone didn't fall in. However, I did climb out of the canoe and jumped off of a rock into the water. Later I realized that I had my phone in my pocket. No worries, the case protected it and there was absolutely no moisture inside.This case is very similar to the LifeProof FRE. The main difference is the door covering the charging port. The door on this case is just a stopper that plugs the hole. I suppose over time that fit could weaken and a leak could develop, but so far it's been great. The opening is a little smaller than the LifeProof, so the only lightning cable that I have that fits is the Apple cable that came with the phone. Some after market cables will not fit in the hole.Sound quality is acceptable, but definitely not as clear as it is without the case. That being said, I have no problem hearing calls and others don't seem to have problems hearing me. When playing audio through the phones speaker (i.e. watching videos) there is a slight hint of a rattle, or distortion. You're not going to get studio quality surround sound out of this case, but you're going to have the same issue with more expensive waterproof cases as well.Over all, I really like this case for the money. I had the LifeProof on my previous phone, but I just didn't want to spend $80-$90 on a new case. For the price, this is a great waterproof case!

After a few days with this case, I've got to say I'm impressed, especially given the price. The case fits my phone perfectly. The touch screen and home key work very well. Given some of the other reviews, I was concerned about sound quality. I haven't noticed any major differences in hearing conversations on the phone, and nobody has complained of not being able to hear me. I tested the case, as instructed, before placing my phone in it, and it did remain dry although it was only a few inches of water. Can't say what would happen in deeper water, but I get the impression that it would work just fine. Getting the case apart to install my phone, was a challenge, but I was able to finally get it apart and the phone placed inside. It felt like it sealed well, just like it did for the test. Controls line up as they should and I feel confident that it will withstand drops better than a naked iPhone. It doesn't feel as bulky or as protective as the Otterbox on my iPhone 5, but the Otterbox isn't waterproof and costs much more. This case is definitely worthy of consideration.

This is my second Ounne water proof case for my iphone 7. I used to have a life proof brand to protect my iPhone but I found people complaining that I sounded like I was underwater to them on the other end. I bought this brand of case as a direct result of these complaints and found the Ounne case didn’t have this issue and people hear me fine with my phone in this case. I like the wheel switch for the silent button and the look and feel of the product. I have put this case through a lot of abuse even just tossing my phone casually to show others how good this case handles shock from falls. The only problem I had with my first Ounne is the plastic that covers the home button got a smaller than a pin size hole in it and lost its water proofing, but this seems like normal wear as it took over a year to wear out. I would easily recommend this case for its protection, durability, sound transfer quality, look and feel!
