Rich and Creamy!
What a delicious treat this is. It’s rich and creamy. You will have to stir this before each use because it is preservative free and the oil separates. However, once stirred the texture is very similar to a chocolate frosting or whipped pudding. Yummm! We have been using this on our pancakes in the morning, and it’s so good. I also love that I can read all of the ingredients. The only thing I didn’t see was if it should be refridgerated on the label. I’m glad I checked the description here because it says to put in fridge and use within 15 days.Overall, this is a decadent treat. It is high in calories, but worth the extra splurge.I’ve included a few pictures of the spread before stirring and after, so you can see the difference. Hope you found my comments and photos helpful.

Weird aftertaste, not worth the pricey cost
I wanted a natural choc spread with no hazelnut. This was a total splurge but seemed like it might be worth it. It's NOT 100% natural; it has the food additive vanillin and an unidentified "emulsifier" but I did like that it had no fake colors or preservatives. However I was disappointed by its strange taste. Yes, it tasted like chocolate, but also some other odd aftertaste that I did not care for. It wasn't disgusting or rotten, but it just wasn't right. I thought maybe it was a little on the old side, but it wasn't expired and now others are saying it had a weird taste too so I think it's something in the ingredients, either the sunflower or coconut oils (maybe those go bad??) The vanillin flavoring additive is presumably why it had a gritty, crystalline crunch to it, similar to biting sugar crystals. Didn't love that but I did finish it all, since I had bought croissants for it, but I won't buy again. Over $13 usd for barely more than 6oz (178g) was just too pricey to be less than perfectly delicious.

Kinda chemically tasting
Has a weird bitter aftertaste that might be from one of the oils in it (sunflower maybe) might steer away from this.

This is SO GOOD! And it's great on so many things! Yum!
It's a jar of luscious, delicious chocolate. Of COURSE it's good!I'm glad it's a small-ish jar, as it's both very high in calories AND you need to use it up within two weeks of opening. Don't forget to put it in the fridge once you've opened it!I've eaten it straight from the jar with a spoon. I added it to a peanut butter sandwich. I made another sandwich with this spread and marshmallow fluff. Very, very good! I even added it as a 'chocolate ribbon' to a raspberry gelato I made. Outstanding! That said, I think my favorite way to devour this is on crackers. I especially like it on Ritz, Townhouse and Club crackers. The salt of the crackers is the perfect foil to the chocolatey sweetness!Excellent product at a fair price. This is a tasty good value.[This is a review for Premium Chocolate Spread, DOP Certified Modica Chocolate, Creamy, Butter, No Palm Oil, from Sicily, Italy, 6.35oz, Campo D'Oro B0B6QDN3PX]

Doesn't really taste like chocolate
Yeah, this does not taste good. It has a strange taste, almost like licorice. Quite surprising. Also, in the refrigerator, it becomes very hard and brittle. Not like butter at all.

not fresh
I think it had gone bad.

Liquid chocolate. YUM.
This is as chocolaty as expected. The chocolate arrived in liquid form. I gave the spread some time to re-solidify in my colder apartment, but I soon learned that liquid was the default state at room temperature. I was a little thrown off, but I then realized that this is actually very helpful for making chocolate-dipped strawberries and for use as a topping for sweets like ice cream and brownies. The main downside to this spread is that it’s 220 calories for just 30 g. SIGH. It’s always the super savory and super sweet stuff that makes us gain weight. Whatever lol. Off I go to buy some strawberries for a sweet, homemade treat!

Disgusting!
Yes it's easy to spread, but that taste! Ugh!
