I've had good luck with this. You do have to gentle inserting the tungsten so you don't apply too much pressure to diamond disk but other than that it makes a perfect grind!

Being a hobby TIG welder I would use a benchtop grinder and a drill to sharpen the tungsten welding tips. It was messy and just did an okay job. I would have loved a professional sharpener but they are hundreds of dollars. I came across this and realized I had a Dremel lying around not getting much use so I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. I paid about $60 for it and it works like a charm. It's very convenient and a bargain compared to other options. The quality is very good. I used it today and had some of the cleanest welds I have had in a long time.

This piece attaches easily to my dremel, and the angle fittings can be moved around, which is nice for different grinds.Issues I had was that the assembly and replacement of the discs whole the unit is installed on the dremel is a PITA to loosen/tighten. Due to the fixed spots of the grind fittings, you will wear through the cutting discs fairly quickly in the concentrated grinding area of the disc.

Seems a little expensive for such a little thing, but well worth it.I used to use a diamond disk mounted on the side of a grinder wheel. This is so much better in terms of speed and accuracy of the point. The cutoff to take care of removing contamination is also better than the way I used to just grind it off on a wheel.I bought a remanufactured battery powered dremel to mount it on permanently and the setup works very well. There are a lot of dremel clones that would have been cheaper , but they don't have the threaded head.

Diamond disks wear out quickly.

I've used this now for a while and it works great. I dedicated an old Dremel for and so far all is great.

The item works as advertised, consistent angle on the tungsten every time, much better than trying to free hand an a bench or hand grinder. Arc is nice, no irregularities in arc shape. The biggest reason to go with this brand and not one of the others, is customer service. I reached out to them inquiring about a custom setup for my needs and they went above and beyond. Even as I was willing to pay extra, they sent what I was asking for, completely free of charge, which was pleasant surprise and unasked for. Even messaged me to find out if I had received everything, and how it all was working out. It's hard finding quality sellers on Amazon, but this company is one of the few that in my books is top notch.

Nice thing about this product, it's manufactured from billet aluminum, unlike most others similar in design, which are made of plastic. This part costs approximately twice as much, when compared to the plastic counterparts.Only downside is that I would have preferred it to have TWO dedicated, separate angles (each) for 3/32 and 1/8 inch Tungsten's.I also purchased a newly released DREMEL model, rechargeable "DREMEL LITE", about $50.00 and dedicated this tool solely for Tungsten sharpening.Overall this tool does exactly what it's intended for. The cut-off section is a bit slow, but that might be do to the supplied diamond wheels. I do recommend getting extra cutting wheels, as they wear fairly quick...

Endlich ein Werkzeug mit dem man die Elektroden einfach schleifen kann. Für die 4 Elektrodendurchmesser von 1,0 bis 3,2 mm stehen 4 Buchsen zur Verfügung. Diese wiederum können in 4 Gewinde verschiedener Winkel eingeschraubt werden. Der Schleifvorgang lässt sich gut beobachten. Die mitgelieferten Diamantscheiben und deren Aufnahme sind von guter Qualität. 100%ige Weiterempfehlung.

Great product. The accurate grinding angle has made a huge difference to the ease and quality of welding.
