AG CareBalance Apple Cider Vinegar Sulfate-Free Shampoo, 12 Fl Oz

I ordered this product for the fact that it will help seal the cuticle of my hair. My hair has become over moisturized from using products that are too heavy for my fine hair, and jas started to look and feel damaged. I used this shampoo for the first time last night and air dried my hair. Usually, if I air dry, my hair is completely stuck to my scalp and my hair looks nasty. And if I diffuse, my hair looks super poofy and frizzy. I have curly hair and have lost a lot of curl from being over moisturized and after the first use of this product, I'm seeing curls forming in areas that I havent seen curl in a long long time. My hair still needs fixing but I thing I'm headed in the right direction. My hair dried nicely too, it doesn't feel stuck to my scalp, it feels very light and fluffy. I'm going to continue to update this review as I wash my hair more with this product. As a disclaimer, I dont use conditioner because it hair doesn't need the added moisture and I just hate it. So I'm using this product alone, without the matching conditioner. Oh! And another huge bonus of this shampoo is that it smells BOMB. Even on the bottle, it talks about aromatherapy and it's no joke. It's not overpowering at all, it smells very natural and earthy, fully of essential oil scents. It made the whole shower experience very pleasant and honestly made me feel very relaxed. Five stars so far!Update: I've washed with this shampoo 4 times now and I'm still loving the results. Continuing to have curl in areas where I didn't before and my hair feels and looks much healthier. I've added the AG cloud foam as a styler and the 2 together make my hair look so soft and shiney!! Still 5 stars from me!

I am a black woman with very coily hair and this product cleans my scalp and the length of my hair very well. In my opinion the smell is good. It's not my favorite as I like more sweet, vanilla type scents and this is more of an organic scent if that makes sense but that's obviously not important as it's shampoo and will be rinsed out regardless. Lastly, I love the way this product suds up with water and because a little goes a long way, it lasts a very long time especially if you're someone who washes their hair weekly like me.

Although this is a extremely pricey shampoo I feel it’s a great product. My scalp never felt better than when I started using the shampoo. I have very short hair and it’s hard to judge it on long hair, I suspect it would be good.for long hair too.I’m a retired Stylist and Image Consultant and I’ve used many Hair and skin products. I do feel this is a excellent hair and scalp cleanser. The packaging is nice too .

I have been using for few years now. It helps with any build up on my hair and leaves it soft and shiny and no it does not have a vinegar smell.

I did some research on great shampoos for oily hair, and found this product. Overall, it works great. I like how it is (mostly) plant based, and it does smell nice. My only complaint is that I was looking for a product that would keep my hair looking "not greasy" for more than one day, but day after using it, my hair still looks like "hair that was washed the day before." This may be a "me problem" instead of a "product problem." Overall, it is a decent shampoo and I would recommend it.

Love the way this makes my hair feel

I really like this productBottle issturdy top you top to dispense shampoo. Works ve.Does not seem harsh and does leave my hair squeaky clean. I use it every three or four shampoos. It also cleans my hairbrushes very well.

I originally bought this for my sister because I read Apple cider is good for naturally oily hair and wanted to help her and give it a shot myself. I had previously been using Vegamour’s shampoo/conditioner and liked it, but figured I’d switch things up. I have now been using this shampoo since October and officially cannot take it anymore. I just reordered my Vegamour set and cannot wait for it to come. For context, my sister has naturally greasy hair and struggles to have her hair last more than a day or so. I’ve never had that issue, my hair usually lasts 5 days without looking or feeling oily. This shampoo though makes my hair look and feel greasy within the same DAY of showering. I’m not kidding. The back patch of my head will start separating by the end of the first full day post shower?! I’ve started having to use dry shampoo to get by since I can’t shower everyday. I’ve never needed that before! Nothing else has changed about my routine so this new grease trend can only be because of the shampoo. I’ve only continued to use this shampoo for so long because I had hope that my hair would adjust and correct itself but after over 3 months of trying I’m done. I can’t wait to wash my hair and for it to feel soft and oil free again. The only good things about this shampoo are that it lathers nicely and the bottle is pretty. Needless to say, I would not recommend this shampoo. (Side note, my sister gave up on this shampoo after a week because for someone with previously oily hair this was like a joke)
