Serac [Durable Hammock & Strap Bundle] Classic Portable Single Camping Hammock with Suspension System - Perfect for the Backpack, Travel and Camping

I purchased a Serac hammock. I immediately hung the hammock between two trees and took a nap. The hammock is quick to set up and a delight to use. I carry this hammock in my day Pack and have hung it ,during the cooler more bugless months of Jan and Feb in the swamps of SC, the warmer months in the mountains of East Tennessee, and under the pier at Isle of Palms. The hammock is great for a short nap or an overnight sleep. You can hang a tarp above to repeal rain and add a mosquito bar if it's bugy. You really don't want to sleep in the hammock in cold weather but with the addition of a sleeping pad and a down sleeping bag you can stay warm in chilly weather. I keep my hammock close at hand and use it often. I give this hammock 5 stars by considering, cost, quality, ease of setup, versatility, and comfort.

Saw these (another name brand at about 3 times the cost) at a concert festival venue in 2015 and thought they were great! Love the quick hanging straps! I have a chronic illness and it's imperative that I rest periodically when doing any big energy draining activity. When the festival rolled around this year, my husband purchased two of these. We didn't need them at the festival - too much rain! However, we did take these hiking with us at the end of the summer and they are great! Love them! Lightweight for a easy hike, easy to set up and so wonderful to lounge in and take in nature. I highly recommend these for anyone that like to get out into the woods but take a little time to chill out in it too.

Just amazing!!!I bought it as a present for my girlfriend because she had been wanting one for a long time. I did research on the best hanging hammocks around, while my friends recommended the ENO I was hesitant. So i kept searching around and after a few weeks of going through many different companies looking at all of the reviews for each hammock i came across the serac.- Size: I like that it's not advertised as a two person hammock like other companies but you can well fit more than two people into one of their hammocks at a time. It seems small and very lightweight when you first open the package and see the pouch with it holding everything inside of it. After you open your pouch the hammock opens up and is so much bigger than expected. it was so lightweight but held tons of weight.- Setup: the setup was very easy, what makes it even better is the company sends your email a set up guide so you dont look like a fool trying to set it up your first time. After you pick the right trees all you have to do is throw your straps around the tree and clip your hammock on and you ready to go! The straps are thin and easy to wrap around all kinds of trees.- Color: The colors in the pictures are well to true colors in real life, unlike other hammocks.- Comfort: Even though the hammock seems a little thin it is very durable and very comfortable. When you lay in it, it feels as if the hammock is hugging you so you feels safe and secure. Sometimes can get uncomfortable with two people laying in it but its still really comfy.- Etc. : I love to use the pouch to hold drinks or my cellphone whenever i decide to take a nap. It is definitely a people pleaser at barbeques and other gatherings.Overall, i have absolutely no complaints with the product. I would recommend it to anyone, I love my Serac Hammock!!

This was a great purchase. I am a novice at anything camping/outdoors and my husband is an Eagle Scout. We were going to stay in a cabin with my family and I wanted my own hammock.He urged me to look into ENO and other brands like that, but I couldn't stand the pricetag. I did my own research and found this one. Not only is it my favorite color combo, my husband is now jealous of my hammock.It is simple to hang...I was successful on my first try! The hammock is comfy and even though I have only used it 3 or 4 times, I feel it will be durable. My husband did borrow it for an overnight camping trip and said it slept very well.

For the price this is a really well made hammock, comparable to higher priced models for sure, plus it came with tree straps and carabiners, with the coupon offer it was a really great value, so 5 stars there for sure.It is a single hammock so at 6' 220 lbs it's a tight fit for me so only 4 stars, probably will keep this in a pack if I'm off trail hiking for a day, I don't know if I would be as comfy sleeping in this as I would be in my double where I can stretch out a bit. The tree straps are well made, shorter than my ENO Atlas straps but I didnt have any problem finding a spot to hang this and get it adjusted right.This would be a great entry level hammock for a beginner on the smaller side, or for youth.

This is a very good product. It is very easy and convenient to pack and is suitable for all sorts of different places. I bought it for my sister who used it with her over the period of three weeks in the caribbean. she loved it and used it in the beach as much as at home on the patio. it is strong and rugged and is quite comfortable. If you are looking for a versatile hammock at a reasonable price to take with you anywhere then there is nothing better.

Although I've only gotten to use this hammock a few times, I am very pleased with my purchase. The quality of all parts of this hammock is exemplary and I know that this will last me a long time. I also like the size of the hammock. It feels perfect for 1 person to sleep in. It's big enough to comfortably lay in, but not so large that it completely cocoons me if I want to feel the wind. It packs nicely into it's bag that stays attached and the bag makes a perfect pocket while using hammock(Camelback water bottles fit well)! I can carry this and my wife's hammock in a backpack easily along with a few other things so it makes for a great adventure hammock! We like to go on bike rides and find new places to hammock, read, and nap and this fits our needs exactly.The inclusion of the straps was a big selling point and I am happy with those as well (and impressed that I can successfully stuff them back in the built-in bag every time!). Set-up is quick and easy. In a few places, it would be nice if the straps could reach longer, but that's true of every hammock/straps. The key is finding trees with right spacing.I would buy this product again. My biggest wish now is that there would be more trees near where I live!

Loved the hammock! Very lightweight and easily portable. The little pocket not only is a wonderful space for cell phones, books, or snacks but also is the actual storage bag itself! How convenient! The straps were nice and sturdy, I wrapped my set up around a smaller tree and a larger one. It fit both of them nice and snug. Caught my friends enjoying it while I was away. It was easily the favorite spot to relax during our camping trip! On top of that, the sleek design of the bag was what sold me. You can tell a quality brand by its attention to detail. I compared this hammock to 10 different ones on Amazon around this price and I firmly believe I am a winner. I won mom! I won!
