The package arrived exactly like what was pictured. The clips were easy to install on the cover and the straps were easy to attach to our crank. I have been able to continue to make adjustments in tension as we've been using it to facilitate the cover going on better.Nice quality, great value, easy to install, durable

Bought to replace old strapping on solar cover. The item came quickly and support from seller was very good.The Pros: Very easy to installStrap length was good since my reel is mounted 4 ft from pool.Number of straps kept sagging of cover to minimum when rooling up.Plastic clips wont rust.Screws provided to positively secure strap to reel, opposed to only using the hook and loop fastenerPossible cons: The single punch thru clip may pull out of cover after cover gets degraded. Most covers will eventually tear at connection after time so expect this. Better covers will last longer.Straps could be heavier to fight exposure to elements.Overall recommend purchasing at this time. Should last a couple of seasons and at this price point repurchasing every other year would be acceptable. Will update after season concerning longevity.

The pool cover reel situation... sharing my adventure in that it may help you! : )As since I delayed replacing grommeting it works in a pinch. It might work better if it had instructions so I knew the intention of the metal screw parts included. I now realize I think they are to tack it to the reel spool, as it is essential all reel attachments at the same place (reel spool has dbl holes to allow this to be done with a curved needle correctly.. this would mean they would dig through the black woven strap and bind into the hold of the reel) are bound to the reel so they all have the same 'start' to roll cover evenly. I dont want to attach metal in such a way though when I have only pop locking plastic parts for the actual attachment to the cover? So, I've not moved forward on that and will move to grommets again soon.However, it is working as an intermittent (tacked them in place on reel with thread kind of works) cover while I decide what I'd like to do with my reel wheels and other cover parts design for better function. The attach straps with plastic part to the actual cover mostly hold, but are not equivalent to grommets. They pop off, as they are only plastic that is hammered in by you, it's usually the same troublesome one. If you value or need your time and open/close cover a lot, this product can only be viewed as an intermediate solution, and for that, I do not regret, but appreciate it. As such, it could be improved -- feels more 'prototype'ish (not tons of work it feels has occurred here in designing, refining this into a really durable just right product!) but it likely works for a lot of people good enough. I like the adjustable strap feature is useful. I am using this in an indoor pool space.

These worked well once I found the right tool to close them.They are strong and solid but difficult to close over the bubble cover.After I found the right tool (a large vise-grip plier) to press them closed they were easy to install and look like they will last longer than the cover.

I have a massive lagoon shipped in ground pool, we use a rectangle shaped solar cover. Directions were easy for installation of straps onto cover. Velcro has held up on the metal reel. A couple of the plastic clips have popped of solar cover but overall this product has made a getting the cover off the pool so much easier. Also it used to be a 2 man job which I can now manage myself.
