Perforations no longer very good - tears a lot
UPDATE: I have been using these for 5 years for my dog. The first few years as you can see below separating them was fine. Now I tear at least one and three, and I try so hard! I have tried tearing inside out and outside in, holding it taut, tearing the bottom bag or tearing the top bag. Nothing gives me a good path. And the bad part is the top bag if you tear it very much at all, it rips a hole in the bottom, there is very little margin for error. The bottom bag it doesn't matter as you just are tearing handles. I wish there was more leeway in the bottom. But I still buy them because biodegradable is more important to me.May 2013I have a 35 lb pit/lab mix and wanted something truly biodegradable. These are a great price AND they tear apart very easily and it's very obvious where they are perforated. My Target brand I had to feel around for the perforations and sometimes they woudln't tear, but this is only attached at the handles so you have one inch on one side and another inch on the other side to tear. And I like having the handles to tie together which the other two brands iive tried did not have. It is very thin, but that's the point isn't it? I have not had any problems with messiness once I've picked up. There is plenty of room in it for my size of dog, it could easily hold double or more. I usually do not buy a whole case of something I've never tried but I'm glad I did.

Okay as Doggy Waste Bags but Ewww!
I work as a professional dog walker & decided to try these as a more economical choice to Biobags. I ordered a full case and will admit I never had a problem with a bag breaking or tearing but I was extremely careful & usually ended up double bagging. When you have to carry it until able to properly dispose, you don't want to take any chances with this sort of thing! The other thing worth mentioning is these bags are like a thin membrane so when you scoop, it feels like . . . I think I'll stop there, you get the picture. If I just had 1, maybe 2 smaller dogs I was dealing with, I would definitely use these as the price is right and using biodegradable is a must in my opinion. But if you have a big doggy with big poops, you will NOT like these.

Forget the Diaper pail systems!
When it became no longer cost effective to continue my cloth diaper service, and not feasible for me to launder my own, I turned to disposable diapers. This was a blessing as we took a trip during the transition, and packed disposable diapers.Packing for the trip home, we discovered we would run out of diapers before we made it back. A last minute dash to a mart in Manhattan to get diapers, turned out to be the best purchase of our trip. We found Nature Babycare diapers and products. Nature Babycare Eco-Friendly Chlorine-Free Diapers, Size 4 (22-37 Pounds), 27 Diapers (Pack of 4) [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging], Pattern may vary Not only did we feel good about environmental impact; it was also very absorbent, easy on my son's skin and at a very low price (when Amazon Mom and Subscribe & Save discounts are applied)When we signed up for Subscribe and Save, I found the biodegradable disposal bags. I thought these were small trash can bags when I ordered, so I was surprised to find that each bag held 1 diaper. This is the BEST travel item! We did not feel embarrassed to toss the diaper into friends' garbage pails, as the bag enclosed the smell. This was also effective when we had to do diaper changes in the car and were not near a trash can.I found tall garbage bags Pridegreen Biodegradable 13 Gallon White Tall Kitchen Trash Bags with Ties, 90-Count on subscribe & save. Partnered with a small waste basket and the Nature Babycare care bags, I created the best Diaper pail system I have seen, or (not) smelled! The Nature babycare Biodegradable Disposal Bags for Diapers, 50-Count Disposable Bags (Pack of 15) product details I appreciate:50 come in a small roll that fits in a diaper bagPerforated ends to separate the bags; easily done with only 1 handThe bag has 2 handles that you can use to tie shut and carryFits a soiled diaper and wipes Nature babycare Eco-Sensitive Fragrance-Free Wipes, 70-count Boxes (Pack of 10) Biodegradable

Waste of money - most bags don't stay intact!
One star because I like the fact that the bags are compostable - I feel like we are generating enough waste by using disposable diapers in the first place. What I don't love is the fact that I wasted my money. I bought the multipack through Subscribe & Save so I saved some money and the first few boxes were ok. But after that, we had more bags rip than not. Either they ripped when we were trying to detach them from other bags (they come in a roll, like produce bags at the grocery store), or they ripped when I I opened them, or they ripped when I was putting just one dirty diaper and wipes in them. I think maybe one out of four bags actually stayed intact. I feel like I wasted my money. Will never buy again.

Good Doggy Poop Bag
I use these bags for my dogs poopoo. I bought these even after the negative reviews. It is true that they can easily tear if you are in a rush so I pre-tear them carefully and tie a bunch on my dogs leash. I am not sure if they are very biodegradable but they definitely feel different than most plastic bags. They are the perfect size for my 20lb dog's poop and I can easily see some one with a 40lb dog also using them without worrying about the size. So far they have never torn or leaked once filled and I am satisfied with them.I would definitely consider buying them again but my husband does not like them so we will have to see.

Great idea, not quite great product
We were very happy to find biodegradeable diaper bags, especially at such a reasonable price in comparison to other products. Unfortunately, we found that these bags were often fragile and when opening the bag or separating it from the roll, the bag would tear or rip apart. This would sometimes happen a few bags in a row which is particularly frustrating when you have a dirty diaper waiting. Not all the bags tore or ripped, enough though that I would not recommend these bags or buy them again. The ones that did stay in tact worked fine.
