The anchors provided are for concrete. The screw size 6mm is not same as US sizes. What size drywall anchor do I buy? I am new to DIY. Pls help.

I mounted these railings on plaster over wooden lathe. Where the mounting holes overlaid vertical studs (the ideal) I drove the supplied M6 screws directly into the wooden studs. Where no stud was available I used M5 wall anchors [ASIN B0B4914VM5; you'll also need an anchor-setting tool (e.g., ASIN B08GLD7562)]. Four mounts over plaster and lathe provides sufficient load bearing capacity. I am concerned about load bearing capacity for a handrail mounted on (comparatively weak) drywall.

Can I get the end brackets only?

No! It all comes attached. If you need just the brackets, check with Ace Hardware, Lowe's, Home Depot or search Amazon. Hope this helps.

Is there another way to mount this without screwing it in to the wall?

NO!! This is a grab bar for support, NOT a decoration! it MUST be mounted fast and secure or it will cause a person to fall if it does not give complete support!
