its safe because of the rounded tips
I cut my dog's hair at home to save money, and this product is quite easy to use. My dog is a poodle, so the curvy scissor is perfect to shape his head. All the scissor are pretty good quality and heavy and the case it came with is nice as well. I think this will last me a long time.

Pretty but not functional
The thinning shears were dull by the time I got to the end of the groom..

Get what you pay for!
I sew so I pay 75-100$ for a good pair of scissors but I thought I would try these anyway since it said professional. This was a waste of money! I have 2 poms and you have to pull the hair out from the dog to even get it to cut at all! On a squirmy pup you need 1 had to hold pup 1hand to use scissors!
