KayteeNortheast Regional Wild Bird Blend, 7-Pound Bag

I've been using this brand of birdseed for several months and the birds love it. Several different types of birds come to my feeder every day to fill up on it. It also has quite a generous amount of sunflower seeds in it to feed the jays and cardinals. I have tried other brands and have been disappointed because they only had a few of the sunflower seeds in the bag.

I have had plenty of pet birds and I always used Kaytee. I only have one indoor bird now, a Blue Crown Conure and she is Special. Outside i have a lot of Birds, Cardinals, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Woodpeckers, love the Doves and a cool Groundhog. Outside feed normally ever is as good as indoor seed. When it comes to Kaytee they both are. Kaytee is a very Fresh, Clean Seed. The price is a little high, but you get an awesome seed. You can't say that about others. So Kaytee is the perfect place for your indoor birds and favorite outdoor birds. I wish this came in a larger bag. It is a really good seed, as are all of Kaytee Products.

These attracted a ton of birds. I had nut hatches, woodpeckers, pine siskins, chickadee, sparrows, and red headed finches. I used it on a platform like feeder.I read about millet after and I do think there is a lot of it. I'm going to try another type next time to see if I can get the goldfinches I want, but those you really want black thistle. I don't see much of that in this blend so removing one star.I think it's worth trying this blend, but I wish it had more thistle/Nyger seed because that gets the finches excited from previous experience.

Perfect amount of Yummies for all sizes of birds, as well as squirrels. Not much waste.

I was feeling bad for the birds having to forage for food in a long hot west coast summer, so I purchased a bird feeder pole with water attachment and flat feeder along with a couple of hanging 2lb bird feeders. Didn't realize I'd be feeding every bird in my zip code because my backyard now looks like something out of Albert Hitchcock's 'The Birds'. This bird seed obviously a favorite with west coast birds. I wouldn't know a finch from a seagull, but this bird seed blend attracts various types of birds. It's like an all you can eat buffet for them. I thought they'd come for a quick meal and then leave. Didn't realize my backyard has now turned into the local gathering location for all of them. Might have to hire someone to do the night shift to keep the feeders full. I guess I'm in the learning phase for what I need to do to regulate feeding because they're greedy and will continue to eat until nothing is left. Two feeders with 2lbs each and a flat feeder with 1lb on it and they can go through all of that in a day. At this rate that would add up to 140lbs of feed a month or in money terms $260 a month. I've got to figure this out or I'll go broke. 5 stars for this West Coast blend and if you want to start your own Aviary, this would be the product to go for.

So I first saw this on Amazon and figured western bird food Well I am in the Pacific Northwest so I ordered it put it in the birdfeeder and within two days it was like the movie the birds they couldn’t get enough of this food. then I was getting low and I was at my local Hardware store and they had large bags of wild birdseed $10 for a 10 pound bag so I bought it. I added it to the birdfeeder and the rest of the entire day A bird would land to take one bite and fly away, so I let it go to the next day the entire day the birds would land take a bite and fly away, so I bought the western Type again and replaced the bird food and it’s the “birds” all over again ha ha they absolutely love this birdseed!!!!!
