Mount & Blade II Bannerlord PS4

One of my favourite games and got it with good price.

The unique types of weapons will give you a lot of freedom how you choose to do battle. Roman style? Shield + Javelin and spatha. Or perhaps Celtic? Throwing axes, a bow or a big two handed axe. DLC is coming soon.

Where to start - the sandbox game option is fun, the premise is good and when it works the game play is challenging and fun. The bad bits are - the opponents seem to be able to regenerate troops much much faster than you. Although their listed numbers don’t match up with their numbers in the field. When you defeat them they don’t have any troops which you would ‘inherit’. Game crashes constantly - very very frustrating. Fingers crossed the developers sort that out - otherwise it’s unplayable. Nothing worse that winning a battle against overwhelming odds for the game to crash and you lose everything.

Although graphically nice, ran smooth though combat is rather clunky as well as horse riding i was under the impression that this here game would be open world which is isn't. I do understand the map is huge but you cannot classify this an open world when it's only open in districts and you travel via going on the map screen. The immersion for me is broken as it's not true to being an open world game. i Just found myself bored of playing it over time, i spent probably 6/7 hours playing the game before reaching this conclusion. 2/5 Clunky, slow, boring, pointless, same dialogues over and over.

Great game. Big improvement from the first mount & blade.
