Rollerblade Maxxum XT Women's Adult Urban Inline Skate, Anthracite and Aqua, Performance Inline Skates

I am 57 yr old female and just started learning rollerblading and could not find the right fit. They were either too big, too wide, uncomfortable or unstable. After being disappointed I was just looking online and found this pair of rollerblades in size 8.5. I was very nervous about them not fitting me and thought this would be one I will have to return again. However, I was happily surprised that they fit me perfectly. I am a size 8 and they fit very well. I guess it's not only by the size but the shape of my feet for me as I have tried a few different pairs that did fit comfortably. I love them and for someone who is just starting out, I love how solid and stable they are. The color combination is pretty cool too. Great skates, no complain here.

These skates tend to run small. Instead of getting like a 6/6.5 I would recommend getting a 7/7.5. Also, be mindful of the tongues of these boots. They tend to pinch your shin/ankle and make it extremely painful to wear. I understand that they’re brand new, and need to be broken in, but I’ve never had this issue in the 15+ years I’ve skates and the multiple styles of skates that I’ve own. Only thing I like so far of these skates is the wheels themself.

Wow! I was so excited for this purchase and now I am so disappointed! The skates were an upgrade supposedly ...it arrived used it was obvious, The brakes were also worn out... I was still willing to give the skates a try...well ...The brakes on these skates are not working, I was willing to ignore the used condition of the skates, and I was also willing to ignore the used brakes. However I just got back from testing them out, and the brakes do not work. I fell a countless amount of times on downhills and hurt my hip, All because of useless breaks on these skates!! Literally!! They don't stop!!! AT ALL!! The brakes do not touch the ground as they are supposed to in order for you to actually stop!!!! Are you kidding me with this?! You can clearly see the angle of the brake is all off.. It's not even on the floor to cause you to slow down in any way!!! You have no idea the danger I was just in on some really crazy hills just now in the streets with cars!!!!!! ..... If this is how the skates arrive.... DO NOT buy it!!!
