Perfect
Exactly what I wanted for cutting soap. It works perfectly. There was a knot in the wood that they put a silly leaf sticker over but it doesn’t affect the function of the cutter. I thought it was funny. Very happy with my purchase.

I Love This Cutter
I love this soap cutter. I make small batch soap loafs and this soap cutter is perfect for that. I decided on a slab cutter because I can cut salads AND single bars with one cutter. My bars are all even now and this is definitely an upgrade from the cutter that uses the blade slicer.

Winning choice
Took a little but of practice to get it going. The hard part was figuring g out the correct tightness for the wire but omg once I got it(3 strings later) I wouldn't change anything about it :)

Incredible value and versatility!
This is a handy little cutter as it will cut both loaves and bars. The adjustable wires are genius. What a value! I've been making soap for 25 years and this is the best price I've ever seen on a cutter of this type.

Works but no fine adjustments. But can work around it
Works well. Was a bit frustrated first because it came with no instructions. Started cutting the slab of soap just to figure out I can't really have more smaller increments. But soap can't wait! So I am here to share a solution. If you have Legos! I was able to get exactly 3/4" by placing 2 bricks. I chose longer ones to be stable. And it worked like a breeze. Hope this is helpful

Exactly what I needed
Before I purchased this soap cutter, I had purchased an acrylic one for the same price and that one was low quality, cheaply made, and cut crooked bars. I returned the other one and bought this one instead and I’m super happy with my purchase! Seems sturdy and will cut straight bars. Excellent

Nope.
Absolute rubbish. this thing couldn't cut warm butter at the equator...And the crank to tighten the string is terribly designed. You would have more success with an actual guitar
