I purchased this mat to use under electric utensils, like a frying pan and multicooker. It is perfect! Can't say enough goodthings about it. I have it turned upside down so it is smooth on top, easier to wipe off. It is such a nice material, rollsup really well, stays rolled without band, when unrolled it lays flat. It is large enough to protect my counter from greasesplatters and, of course, from too much heat. Would purchase again.

While this is primarily marketed as a drying mat for dishes, it is also stated that it can alternatively be used as a trivet to protect surfaces from heat. And, that's the feature I was interested in. I had a 3.0 cu ft mini fridge/freezer combo unit at work that died. I replaced it with a 3.1 cut ft model by a different brand. While the new model was slightly larger than the previous one, the distribution of that space was slightly different. The new one was not as wide and was instead deeper from front-to-back. The loss of width was significant enough for me to be concerned about the microwave I had resting atop the fridge. Especially since this brand's exterior was smoother. Creating a concern that the microwave might slide off the fridge either during operation or just over time. I temporarily put some felt furniture pads on the bottom, which provided better traction but then I was concerned about whether that type of material might be a problem with heat from either unit. This silicone mat was the solution I found. It's almost exactly the same width as the new fridge ... and covered almost the entire top depth-wise ... but is plenty large enough for the microwave. The mat doesn't budge ... and neither does the microwave. And plus, because the 18" depth was more than the microwave's depth, I was able to push the microwave to the back edge and have several inches of space in the front to catch any spills or drips from food as I remove it from the microwave. A very simple and elegant solution to that problem as well.

Works great i just wish it didnt have the large white logo on the corner. Good slip resistance and easy to clean.

It’s a good quality mat, however I think carefully think about the water reservoir it would leave because there is no way to drain the mat until all the dishes are off of it. I can be easily wiped but the water will accumulate.

I've only had it a few days, but so far I'm happy with it. It's nice & large, but not too big for my limited counter space. I use it for drying my big items like pots, pans, cooking utensils and the glasses that don't fit in my small dish rack. I used it today for letting my salted eggplant slices rest on and sweat out their bitterness before breading them for dinner. And then when I'm done with it, I hang it up over my sink to dry (my husband put in a "clothesline" across the sink just for drying mats like this), and when it's dry, I roll it up and set it aside, so it's STILL not taking up my limited "real estate".

One of the best silicone mats I have ordered and used. It is very thick and easy to clean. It holds ZERO stains and works as advertised.

Mat is a good item but been too fold in shipping and have a crack on back.I have a refund and order a new one.

I love a product that says what it does and delivers. I love the versatility because I'm not using this for a dish drying station. Rather, I have a very old stove (1934) and I need to protect the enamel on the top. So this sits on top of the stove allowing me to use that area to move hot pots too. And while this next thing might seem odd it really pleased me - it unrolled flat! Since it comes completely rolled up I was worried it would curl a bit and need to sit out..nope it unrolled flat!The size is perfect! I wish I had done this a couple of years ago. Great product.
