Ok I had the older can lights that I just hated. They are antiquated and just didn’t look nice. After watching several videos I ordered these to give them a try. These are super simple to install. It actually takes longer removing the old bulb and ring then it does to install these. Much cleaner look, fit looks fantastic and great light output which is brighter than the LED bulbs I had installed in the old can lights. See before and after photos. Couldn’t take good photos of them on as the new light drowns out in the camera. Since I just installed these I can’t speak to longevity but you really can’t go wrong with these.

Wow what a difference, I bought 36 of them then put them in my suitcase and traveled to my place in Costa Rica. Every single one worked perfectly, they look better and the light shines brighter and more evenly than the original can lights. What a great choice.

Installed these at my Dad's house to replace his existing bulbs. These things light the place up big time. He keeps the dimmer at 50% for most situations and it's plenty of light. Plus going from standard 65W bulbs to these means that if I crank up the 10 I installed to max, they use less electricity that just 2 of the old bulbs.

Very bright! They fit perfectly. Have had no problems at all with these working. Great value for the money! Very easy to install!

I've ordered several sets of these type of lights to replace my recessed lighting in a few different homes. I found this brand a bit more difficult than the others so I'd be inclined to recommend looking at other options if buying bulk LEDs.. Amazon seems to have several options so at minimum, look at the comments here and see if other brands might solve a few of these issues... Here's why i give these a 3:1. The color temperature selector is way too sensitive - that is, there is virtually no spread between temperature options such to know that you've selected the right one, you have to 'try' to listen to the microscopic clicks between options... I had several lights after install that weren't in the right temperature position so I had to get back on the ladder, remove the light and try to dial it in - selecting one option vs another should be way more easy.2. The metal springs included are slightly thicker than others I've worked with making them a little more 'stiff' and difficult to get into the can's clips. Because of this, there is more friction when you start pushing up to get the light into position and it sometimes actually moves the can itself.. I'm not sure if other brands use a slightly thinner, easier to work with spring, but it definitely could have been 'easier' to get the light springs into the can.3. The other issue with the spring is the plastic light housing assembly, while being 5"/6" compatible - when you put the spring into the side, it slides pretty easy between the 5" setting and 6".. so IF you have 6" cans, the spring might inadvertently be pushed in to be the 5", making it much more difficult to install.. that is, the spring can easily slip in the gap provided.. IMO, there should be a clip setting for 6", and a clip setting for 5" to ensure the spring is locked into the right place..The light quality itself is good once installed and probably worth the cost, but I'd look at some of the other assembly items mentioned if needing to do more...

These were easy to install and bright. Was able to put them on a dimable switch also.
