It’s weird to write a glowing review about a micro USB cable, but after trying (and failing) to find a decent one among the crap flooding the Amazon marketplace, I must give credit where credit is due. This Amazon Basics cable turned out to be top-notch, with high quality connectors, and internal shielding fully compliant with the USB 2.0 specifications. The cable is thin (just over 3.3mm in diameter) and reasonably flexible - no braiding definitely helps. The cable has no markings, but the thickness and internal resistance suggests that the wire is 28 AWG all around. The internal resistance is consistent from cable to cable. The fully molded strain relief is nothing fancy but works just fine. A 5-pack is a fantastic value that gets even more incredible when you compare it to the pricing on similar cables from “legit” electronic part distributors. As long as this model stays this way, it's a rare, all around good deal.

This is a great fast-charging wire. I use it as my main wire to charge my phone and other devices. It has a good length and it lasts. I bought it more than once and now have half a dozen of these.
