Fabulous rowing machine for the price. I looked at many options and read tons of reviews before selecting this machine. I am very happy with my choice. It’s not too big so that I can tow in my living room and easily fold up and roll out of the way to the side of the room. I don’t find it too big and bulky to take away from the ambience of my room.I’m huge in good customer care as I used to run a call center years ago. I must say that I have never received such excellent customer care as I have with this purchase!! Within hours of my purchase I received an email from the company to ensure that I was happy with their product and asked if there was anything I needed to assure my continued happiness with this machine. I couldn’t believe it!! I have not had any issues at all, but remain super impressed that they have remained in contact with me for several weeks just to keep me as a satisfied customer.I highly recommend this machine if you are looking for an easy workout in your home. I put on my favorite show, plop down and before I know it an hour of rowing has gone by and my workout done. The battery operated touch screen monitor is great to track my time and efforts and I’m not tripping over a stupid electrical cord. Set-up was fairly easy. The instructions aren’t the best, but they provide a video to easily walk you through the process. And, they are just a message/call away if you run into any issues.If you’re on the fence about this machine, just pull the trigger and make it happen. You’ll be happy that you did😃

I really like theJKANGFIT Rowing Machine. It was fairly easy to assemble, but did take some time. It's easy to move around and most importantly offers a great workout. I did have a problem changing the handlebar from the rowing position to under the seat for strengthening. Actually it was when I was returning the handle bar to its rowing position, somehow the sleeve on one side of the handle bar slipped off and then the chain slipped back into the main frame. When I asked for help I was immediately given the information to fix the problem. And in fact, an email was sent to double check how it was going. Very conscience and wanted to make sure the machine was working as advertised. So be careful when bringing the handle bar back to rower position. Otherwise, the machine needs two double AA batteries and keeps track of your workout. Great buy.

I purchased this while looking over a few different models to get into rowing at home. It didn't seem wise to jump into this with many of the $1000+ machines that also require some subscription service. So, this find that was well reviewed even outside of Amazon was encouraging. I got it early from the seller, set it up easily enough, though the "stretch wedges" were snug enough to require a soft mallet to get the screw holes to align. I made sense of the instructions for assembly, but I wouldn't hive minded more close up views of some orientations for parts.Overall the rowing aspect of things is fine. The tension knob isn't great. It has a range from 1-14 that I don't understand why not just 1-10? On the one hand the app based workouts are nice as they give you something to train around when you've never rowed before. On the other hand it makes me wish I'd gone for a machine that has automated resistance based on the workout. And this is where the numbering comes in as some of the pre-defined workouts for intervals or things will tell you to adjust to 25% or something and I have to stop, turn the knob to 3 or 4, then start again. The app also tells me I'm on a trial, and I didn't really see any notice on the product page indicating the subscription was required so I suppose we will see if this just ends or swaps to an ad system or something.Overall for an entry level machine it seem okay, but I have some reservations about it. At least I didn't spend $1200 and regret it.

The media could not be loaded. I found this rower to be very well made and sturdy for the price point. I'm 5'9" 185 lbs and it doesn't budge while I'm using it. I'm 50 and while I'm not super athletic I do work out regularly and consider myself to be in above average shape for my age. I typically start my rowing session at resistance level 6 and finish at 14(the highest level) and easily workup a sweat during 15 minutes of rowing. I find that there is definitely a big difference in resistance between level 1 and 14. The resistance mechanism is very smooth and quiet. While it is sturdy the rower is narrow and takes up little space. I would recommend this rower for someone looking to stay in shape with a full body aerobic workout. Warranty and customer support is great.

I had a significant discount on this unit, so I am writing the review based on full price. The rower is fairly lightweight, so it requires a grip pad underneath if using on a solid surface (ie not carpet). The rowing is smooth until the end of the finish, and the seat moves smoothly along the track. The seat is comfortable and the position is appropriate. The display is basically useless as it has a slot for a tablet, which blocks the display. When using an app for rowing, it will block your ability to see stroke and split times. Also, the display is very quirky and at times wildly inaccurate. If reconsidering this purchased, I would pay for a higher end unit that is better engineered. Overall, I have significant concerns about the longevity. The nylon pull and its inside connector feel unsteady. Unfortunately, I didn't have room to keep the shipping material, so I don't have a method to return the unit.
