High Quality Metal Powder

Great for cold casting
I purchased this powder to try out compared to version offered by smooth-on. This powder is much less expensive than theirs, so I figured it would be worth a shot to know for sure what the quality would be. I ran several castings from a mold for this purpose and each one of them came out as described. In the image, the Brass is on the right (copper is on the left). The mold was dusted with the powder, than a mixture of Smooth-Cast 325 and powder was slush-cast around, then the center was back-filled with plain resin to save material. It worked great. I polished up the high spots with very fine steel-wool and achieved a shiny finish in those areas. Remember- the smoother your model and mold, the better the results will be when polishing. I will definitely use this vendor again when I cold cast!

Far better results than what I was expecting...
I honestly just bought this powder because it was the one in amazon that offered more material for the price.I was expecting just to get the color of brass and the powder looks dull so I wasn't expecting much. But after filling it with regular superglue and sanding it up to 10000 grit sanding paper I didn't end up with brass color but actual metal texture and sheen!I included a picture and keep in mind this was a flimsy quick test if I had actually used this on some detail cut wood and used thin CA glue like a proper job needs, the results would be even better.
