This thing is awesome and encompassed so many familiar and meaningful elements. It made for a super-hilarious birthday gift for a close friend (and caused amazed expressions and long-lasting belly laughs from mutual friends gathered around). The amount of joy and laughter this brought to that group of people was one of the best things I've ever experience, and it's likely something that won't be easily forgotten by the birthday girl!

It was dark and storming the night this little badass magically galloped into my life. As I gazed at the wild wonder that strode the land on his mighty unicorn steed, my heart began to pound like a war drum from some fantastic Norse myth. But not from fear, oh no sir! The beat was a beat of PRIDE! Not since the legend of 3 Wolf Moon have I been blessed to witness such raw power, such woodland beauty, such patriotism!!! All 3 companions are a treasure unto themselves; The wise and agile unicorn. symbol, and protector, of purity. The noble feline. Loved by the night and blessed by the moon. And the secretive friend of the forest, the Gnome. Devined by Paracelsus and strapped to the teeth. Together, they become an unstoppable force and live on my porch. They stay ever vigilant. Waiting in the wings to rescue any dull conversation... and maybe fight fairytale crime...

This is a really cool item and very unique, but it came damaged. The flag turns out to be a straw that was improperly packaged so it was split apart in the middle (easy fix). The tail of the t-rex was also broken (it was a pretty clean break so also an easy fix with superglue). I considered returning it for a replacement, but since the fixes are pretty simple and shipping is so slow at the moment I decided to accept it as is. The detail on the teeth on the t-rex and the cat were pretty cool, but the overall paint job left a little to be desired. I won't deny that you are definitely paying for the novelty of the item rather than craftsmanship.

The size is just about perfect. It looks great out with my pink flamingos. I'm going for the "not in every yard" look to tell the snobs in my community to keep their noses to themselves. If they don't like my beautiful yard decor, stop snooping in my business. This little guy has helped spread that message. It doesn't feel like super cheap quality, and I'm hoping it can take the southern summer weather with no issues. He makes me laugh every time I see him chewing on that gnome! No, I'm not mentally challenged, just have a damn good sense of humor!! It was definitely worth the money in my opinion.

Once upon a time, my marriage of over twenty years was coming to an end. I had days where I felt okay and days I felt very sad that I couldn't mend the broken pieces. This particular day I received a note that my soon to be ex-husband was not going to be attending the no-contest divorce hearing and I would have to finalize the divorce myself. In fact, he wanted me to "take care of the divorce" while he "ran by the house to pick up some of his things" as though it were any other day of any other week. As with so many things, all the years and hard work and love and family and keeping of vows were no more important than running to the grocery store. I cried for a long time that night but I didn't tell anyone because I didn't want to be a burden and I felt like I had already cried enough on everyone's shoulders. I cried because my marriage was over. I cried because I was lonely. I cried because I was exhausted. I cried because I felt a little lost with a newly empty nest and no partner and I wasn't quite sure how my life had gotten here or where I was going next.Then it happened.My eldest daughter sent me a text with a link to this gnome that said, "I don't even know what is happening here." Opening the link, I broke out into the biggest, deepest laugh I had in quite a while. I scared the dogs and the cats but that didn't stop my laughter. Tears streamed down my face as I took in the gloriousness of this gnome.There is, indeed, so much happening here. It's a gnome riding a unicorn with a rainbow mane and neon hooves with a striped cat riding the unicorn and the gnome is wildly waving a gold gun whilst an American flag flies proudly from the unicorn saddle. It's a LOT y'all. I mean it's so much extra and a LOT. Now the tears that were streaming down my face were from outright joy. I had to own this. WHAT?!? It was on Prime and could arrive in 2 days. This was a sign my world could be put back together. I knew then and there that this would be my divorce gift to myself. My daughters didn't believe I was actually going to buy it. They were a bit horrified when they saw it prominently displayed on my dresser. With wide eyes, they asked why on earth I had it on my dresser??? I told them that I woke up and saw him every morning and it made me happy all over again and he reminds me that even in the darkest moments there is a place for joy and laughter and peace of mind. He reminds me that I made it to the other side and that if we are open to the moments that fill us with joy or laughter or take our breath away, they are always close by waiting to be found in the most unexpected places.

Awesome. Just received and delighted. Very cute and a great size. Time will tell how it will fare outside in the elements.

Die Tiki and a Gnome Statue sieht echt gut aus und fühlt sich auch sehr robust an.Die Farben sind bis auf kleinste Fehler am Gebiss des Tikis, die man nur bei genauem hinsehen sieht, sauber aufgetragen wodurch ein wunderschönes Bild entsteht.Ps.:Man könnte überlegen etwas anderes als Styropor für die Transportverpackung zu verwenden um es etwas Umweltfreundlicher zu verschicken :)
