This is a beautiful handmade leather journal. Love the paper which is obviously handmade. Love the stones on the cover, the stamping on both the front and back covers, and the handsewn edges. Mine did not have issues with bleeding dye but there is some roughness in the leather. I do not have issue with that as I would expect it with a handmade journal. I purchased the very large size and I really cannot believe the value. The stones on the cover did have some of the stain on them but that is definitely removable.I would highly recommend this journal to anyone and plan to purchase more from this company as they have quite a few fantastic designs.

I got a nice book that is well put together. The first page inside does have some circle colorations from the front. I don't care about that personally. Other pages look ok to me. the locks work very nicely, the cover is soft.There is a hint of a chemical smell (maybe how its put together) and some of the brown from the front rubs off on your fingers so just be careful if wearing lighter colors. You will have to wash your hands. The book feels bendable, or soft which I like. Some of them out there are almost tough and don't have a real feel to them, but this one does.I feel for the $20 price range this is a great buy. Everything looks new and not worn or crusted/molded.

This is much larger and more beautiful than is on line. The leather is soft and the binding is natural. The paper is on the heavier side and somewhat aged. it is held in by leather straps. The buckles are super cool, photos do not do this journal justice. I am getting more to use as my Reiki, Chakara, spells, stones /crystal and Tarot journals to compile all my important notes. The stones on front are set in very well. I would recommend this if it catches your eye. The price is amazing for the craftmanship.

When I say this thing is huge, I mean its HUGE! I read the product dimensions before ordering but I didn't realize just how big it was until it arrived today. Not only is it huge but it is absolutely gorgeous! The attention to detail is exquisite and the stones are REAL! Not fake plastic ones. The pages are made from handmade paper which gives it a little something extra in my opinion. They are sturdy pages( although one of my pages was ripped out upon opening it and just laying inside the front cover) the metal clasps on the book are sturdy as well and give it a very antique feel. This would make a wonderful gift for a writer or book lover. The only complaint I have is that the pages are not refillable so once its filled up that's it and you have to buy a new one. Although, it does have plenty of pages to keep you busy for quite awhile. Overall I'm very satisfied with this book and will likely purchase more in the future!

The media could not be loaded. Now I was skeptical about reviews but when I say this book is gorgeous, I'm not lying!!!! I got the 10x13 and it is absolutely perfect with its imperfections. This will not only be a prized possession but may also be future gifts.

The book is beautiful and came in as expected. The only drawback was that the finishing on the leather rubbed off and stained my hands. I had to take time out to rub the excess finish off. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the purchase.

The quality was amazing and better than expected!! The leather work is absolutely gorgeous and the stones are mesmerizing in the correct chakra order and not cheap plastic but real stones. The pages are high quality and of no holes in them due to the paper making process. The pages have a very nice feel to them and are sturdy. The pages look and feel old like you are looking at an antique book. The leather binding is well made and of durable material that will surely last a very long time and was not at all flimsy but sturdy. The two metal clasp that secures the book are beautiful and durable. Overall, I am very impressed with the workmanship and have begun adding entries to my journal. My only regret would be that I didn’t have enough money at the time to order another one right away but will definitely do so again.
