Let it be known that I am incredibly picky about fabric quality, sewing quality, and in general the workmanship of items, and I'm very happy with this blanket. It still looks really good after 2 years of use. The satin binding isn't all snagged and nasty looking like a lot of cheap satin binding quickly gets. I have absolutely 0 complaints.Even the size is really good. It's wider than most baby blankets (36 inches vs 30), which means it can still completely comfortably cover my 2 year old and will still be good for probably another year. That's not the case with the 30 by 40 blankets, which is the standard size of baby blankets. Those blankets are definitely too narrow to cover him when placed vertically, but when they're placed horizontally, they're plenty wide but not tall enough. If his feet are adequately covered, the blanket only goes as high as his waist. The dimensions of this one are great, though!Do know that this isn't a thick blanket. It's a single layer of fleece. I mean, imagine one layer of fleece, and there you go!Oh and don't worry about the personalized part being too scratchy. I'm all for soft things for baby skin, but come on. It's not sandpapery or anything and it's only a small part of the blanket and will absolutely not harm the baby if their skin brushes against it!The only thing to note is that when it arrived, if I recall correctly, it had a lot of little loose threads from the binding on one side of the blanket. All I had to do was carefully go around with a pair of scissors and snip off each thread. It has not been at all a problem since.

Gave this to my daughter for my granddaughter and it wowed her. Very well made and very soft. Only thing I can complain about is that having her name on the pink one is a bit hard to see.

This made a great gift for two new babies with unique names. Both sets of parents were pleased and use the blankets all the time.

It's a pretty blanket but I expected the lettering to be more noticeable. Maybe that was my fault for not looking closer. Nice blanket though.

I bought this as a gift it arrived a few weeks after, but it was the wrong color and the name isnt that visible. there are no options to change the color of the name. however, my friend didn't mind so I didn't bother to return it. it wasn't as soft either but still useable.
