These are very sturdy. I bought them to hand out to friends and family to educate people about the destructiveness of plastic straws to the environment. When I bought them, Amazon listed them as Not available - but I did receive them. So give it a try.

Upside - seen to be good quality at a reasonable price.Downside for eco-friendly use -- they come in a half dozen plastic bags , one for each color.Amazon ships in a padded plastic bag -- makes sense to prevent shipping damage if weather doesn't cooperate but it may warrant a local purchase.

Product looks just as pictured. Came in a pretty box. Nice vibrant colors! Great quality as well.

I'm amazed at how sturdy these things are! I've used them for hours without them disintegrating. The only time I've had an issue is with a take-out cup that had harder sharp plastic around the straw hole...otherwise, these straws have been perfect. I threw a bag of them in my purse so I can whip them out in any restaurant. I will be purchasing these again!

These candy-striped straws are a whimsical and nostalgic alternative to plastic. I'm happy to find straws that don't harm the environment and wildlife.

Great deal on paper straws! I saw a video where a man removed a plastic straw from the nostril of a sea turtle... heartbreaking. Since then, to appease my straw addicts, I have gotten paper straws. This was the best price, per paper straw I could find. They are great, hold up for the entire drink, and come in so many colors.

We recently bought another brand from a foreign country and they were decent but “melted” after an hour or so. My husband said, buy something from the USA, so I did and I’m glad I did. Quality is much better and stronger. These straws are stronger and come beautifully packaged as well!

Reading the reviews I was sceptical about ordering these. I was worried they would get soggy really fast. The first thing I didn't like, is each color is wrapped in plastic!! Had to open each color. I guess that would be a plus if you wanted to keep the colors separate. They work really well. We use them for soft drinks and Margarita's. They do soften over time but still work fine. I've not yet had one fall apart, and even when left in a water glass bedside, works fine in the morning. Pretty good for the price. One star off for the packaging.
