It Works!
A good friend recommended that I try this product for my 12 year old small mixed bread dog. She gets one each morning. She is a bit of a fussy girl and not hungry in the morning, but she readily eats this with enthusiasm. I use this daily with a glucosamine product every other day and she really moves with much more agility and seems much more comfortable. I am on my second container of them and will continue to use them. Very grateful that my sweet Maddie has improved quality of life with this product.

Big help for arthritic dogs
I have been giving Duralactin tablets to my dogs for about 2 years. I recently switched to these chewy treats when my dogs didn’t want to take the vanilla flavored tablets anymore. These chewy treats are great. They are soft and easy to break in half. My dogs have bad arthritis and I wasn’t sure if Duralactin was even helping them, so I did a little experiment and did not give them any for about a week. During that time they were very lethargic and had less mobility. I definitely noticed a difference when I put them back on it.I’d 100% recommended this product!

Given more time to our old gal
This stuff is amazing. We were having a weekly conversation about putting her down because of her lack of mobility and clear neurological symptoms. A friend told me about this and it has been an absolute miracle. Our dog is not back to the way she was but her quality of life has returned and she can now get herself up without our help.

My dog likes them!
My nearly 13-year old dog is developing kidney and arthritis issues, and my vet recommended Duralactin. My dog is pretty picky about what he eats, but he definitely enjoys these and theoretically they're helping to ease the arthritis pain. I implemented several changes to his nutrition at one time so I can't speak to the specific effectiveness of this, but its not difficult to get him to eat the "treats" and in fact he hangs around waiting for his each night. They're bone-shaped, about 1/3" thick, and soft rather than crunchy.

Critical Addition to Inflammation Wellness Program
My schnauzer, Charlie, has spondyloarthritis - a type of arthritis that attacks the spine and in some cases, the joints of the legs. After trial and research I found what works for Charlie. I use Duralactin Canine chews along with VetriScience Vetri Disc everyday and he now walks better, with less pain, and his lower, tail-end spine is not all hunched over. He still moves slowly, as he's around 11 (adopted), but he's soooo much better now with this regime. I crumble the chew and the Vetri Disc is a capsule, so I empty it in his food. No problems there. Maybe it will work for your dog, too.

Arthritis problems - give this a try
We used duralactin for my previous dog, who had terrible arthritis issues (and lived to be 16.) This was recommended by our homeopathic vet and we combine this with other treatments. (Glucosamine, rimadyl...) We now have another 10 year old dog who is showing a spinal disk issue. We added duralactin to his AM treat routine and it is again helping. We are only needing to give rimadyl every now and then. This is good because rimadyl can be hard on the organs, long term.I must confess, I have not tasted it so my rating on the flavor is based on my dog's eagerness to eat it. I have a picky boy. He will take this as a treat as long as he is convinced I don't have something better coming.
