This is an elegant and whimsically playful watch. It has an abalone circular shape in the middle of its black face. The abalone is surrounded by Roman numerals XII, III, VI, and IX with gold spheres standing in for other numbers. There are three hands: hour, minute and second. The second hand is a thin gold line, the minute hand is a slightly stylized needle and the hour hand has a distinctive tapered diamond shape. The face is surrounded by a circular, gold-polished rim. Above the face, the crystal is unusually beveled from the outer circle shape to a raised square. This (together with the abalone) gives the watch a distinctive, three dimensional quality and striking aspect although, when the light strikes the watch a certain way, legibility is somewhat compromised. On either side of the face are tiny Swarovski crystals. These give the watch a bit of bling in a fun and tasteful way.You set the time manually using the gold crown to the side.The classic-looking thin bracelet appears to be made of plastic and aluminum with plastic-feeling black links interspersed with gold aluminum-feeling ones. The black and gold combination is eye-catching. This was a watch designed to be looked at. The clasp is conventional.This is not a power watch with a wide clasp bracelet and distinctive face; it is a small, elegant dress-style watch that makes sense for most women. I have had it for several days—and it keeps time well. It does not boast any “complications” (meaning, it does not measure the weather or converse with my cell phone); it is a reliable and accurate (not to mention beautiful) watch that fits into my life-style. Be patient. It is shipping from China after all. However you won't be disappointed when you finally receive, Reasonably good quality for the price. I can't comment on how well it keeps time as I have only just received it. However for the price I paid for it, I won't be too upset if I soon have to replace the battery to one of better quality. The best thing about this watch though is that it does not have pre-set holes on the band. This makes this watch ideal for me because I can close the band in as tightly as I need it and still be able to secure it properly. Very stylish.

I love my new watch, its so high class inn and casual looking. It came in early than expected! It works out perfect with almost any outfit! The only thing is that the leather band is a little hard other than that all is good for this price!

I liked the brown watch I purchase so much that I purchased the black one also. The watch face is about the size of a half dollar coin (you older folks may remember them). Although I was looking for a casual watch, this one can also be quite dressy, too. The watch keeps great time; I'm very satisfied with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate buying more of the same in different colors.

Love the the watch it's the 2 nd one I've had the only thing I had against this one is the pin would come out of the band I finally lost the watch because of it but I do want to get another one had a lot of compliments on it

I really like the watch.My only SMALL short coming with it is that it came with a small band, more l like for a young person.But the watch is great.

Love it and shipping was fast the only thing I didn't realize it wasn't waterproof. But oh well still very pretty and loving it.
